Chronology
Did anyone else notice the dog chase scene in the background during the ending cutscene for the DLC? So now we know Pigsy's adventure took place right before he meet Monkey and Trip.
That being said, I really enjoyed this DLC, a nice little story.

Ohh nicely spotted.
 Yes the DLC was amazing, even if I would have prefered a more happy ending, but that was impossible considering the fact you-know-who isn't in the main game. The DLC was worth the purchase, and great job from the developers there.

If anything, I dare say I enjoy the DLC ending better than the main story ending lol. The anime style cutscenes are very nice too, it makes me really feel for Pigsy as a character.
I definitely wouldn't mind a sequel or something because I would love to meet these characters again.

Cool, I didn't notice that in the cutscene. Guess I'll have to play it again (which I will have to do anyway because of the missing collectibles).

I saw the "dog" running in the background of the final cut scene, but didn't connect the dots to the main game. Doh! Glad someone pointed it out. I'm also glad I played the DLC before making another run through the main game as I'll now have a greater appreciation/understanding of Pigsy's backstory.
I was surprised how long the DLC kept going; just when I thought it was about to end a new chapter loaded. Looking forward to a 2nd playthrough for trophy clean up.
