Businesses don't think this stuff through when they do crap like this. Had they just left the releases unlocked the sales losses would have been minimal if even noticeable. Now they have essentially guaranteed a large number of losses in sales, destroyed the persona community, and angered more people than a wild hornet nest!

And the Persona community is quite big and quite strong, a small delay won't kill them and if anything the people of the fighting game community were the only ones possibly upset with the region lock ... the rest of the persona fans are still going to buy it when its in there region, Im sure most of them would prefer to understand it in their language anyway.

I didn't even know it's possible to region lock a PS3 game =\
Curse it, have to wait another month later than the rest of the world to play P4A because My PS3 is European. Last edited by doomgun; 07-16-2012 at 04:32 AM. |

Due to this immense delay, official European version of Catherine had incredibly weak sales because (although its just my guess, but highly likely) most people had already imported and played it. If they did a better job of releasing the game on time they wouldn't need to do this region lock BOLLOCKS

Then there's obtaining the rights and all of this other stuff that has to be done in order for it to be released in Europe. |
