PAIN has been available on retail in the shops for a few months now. I picked up my copy for £10 (about US$16?). It contains everything you need to get most of the trophies... maybe even enough to get all the trophies, without having to buy any more DLC.

EDIT: I've just checked the trophy list, and you'd only need to buy one character (the Hoff) in order to get all the trophies if you have the retail version of the game rather than the PSN Store version. I've already gotten a few trophies where, in the Trophy Guide, it has the word (Add) next to the trophy description to say you need to buy more DLC.

That's because the original version doesn't come with DLC. The one you picked up in a shop COMES WITH DLC. It's still DLC regardless what you paid for it.

Use the same method you used to get Unlock Aftermath

And what method is that? You didn't post any method in the guide for unlocking aftermath to my knowledge. Either I wasn't thorough or you named it something else because I already ctrl f'd 'aftermath'.

I'm with ya on this, i spent an hour trying to unlock the characters before I realized they where all paid DLC, now my 10$ PSN game pruchase feels like a big 10$ demo >.<

Score 1.5 million in the original PAINdemonium level to unlock Aftermath. It's described in the game in the in-game trophy area.

I would suggest correcting the estimate amount of time for 100%. 40 - 50 hours is about the amount of time needed just to get all the trophies except for King of Pain and Ninja pwn. To get those two will probably take you an additional 40 - 50 hours and I don't feel it is right that people are misled into thinking that this game is a 40 - 50 hour game to 100%.

It is only a suggestion though and it may not have much of an impact since I don't think many people are playing this game anymore. PSN games in general have seemed to lost their popularity lately.

40-50 hrs for all trophies but king of pain en ninja pwn seems a bit much... dont think i spent more than 10-15 hrs on em.

I think the time given by the OP is pretty accurate.

10 hours??? You must have been born a PAIN god!! It took me close to 10 hours just to get Zoom Raider !!

40-50 hours doesn't really sound like a 9/10 difficulty. I don't know, it's a PSN game, I might be wrong.

I think Ninja Pwn took me something like 5-6 hours altogether.

I had no trouble unlocking Hot n Cold Plat Club, but it took me about 3 hours straight to unlock Clown Toss Plat Club, that one was hard.

It depends on your skill level and how quickly you get the hang of the game, but I think 50 or so hours for everything is close to average.

I 2nd this. I've probably spent about 50 hours and I'm only at at little over 30%. Dick's Harder Balls probably took me 20 hours!
