Thanks for that zasher. I was going to post a similiar list myself.

In this list one thing to note is the jackpot section (ジャックポット)

There are many of them and you need to play with each character many times until they are about level30 to unlock a special coin needed to unlock each of these jackpot skills.

So far I have been joining in player 2 and leaving him/her idle to level up 2 characters at a time.

A precision:
We had heard about online only coins before, they do exist!
Though, they are different from the normal ones. When on the main menu, if you go to "gallery", then "coin", you can see a list of your coins, and by pressing R2, you go to a page with only 5 slots. Those are online only coins.

You got them when you play with a friend (aka, using invitation). You seem to receive a random coin with half a star, and by playing again with the same friend, you get experience which can be used to either:
- Level up the coin by half a star
- Change the category (strenght, defense, life) though it's preset so you can't chose what you want to change into
- Change the icon itself (for example I had a Sanji's flag which I could change into Mr.2, once again it's random, you can't chose)
-a fourth choice that I forgot actually!

So it seems the best way would be to find partners and always play with them to make the 4 star coins you want!

If it possible to level up multiple coins with the same partner instead of using multiple? I have barely been able to play online since it is constantly full of errors and connection problems.

So is this going to be a grindy plat having to max all characters? Can anyone guve an estimate of time needed to plat it yet?

Also i have a hunch that if this game releases in EU/US it will stack so people wanting multiple plats can Probably look forward to it because modt dynasty warriors games stack.

You don't have to max them out. If you did that would suck and put 10-20 more hours on the plat.

Right now I have 2 gold trophies left, all skills and 100,000 kills and I have clocked up about 30hours so far and that is WITH reading all the Japanese dialogues inbetween levels which takes up more time and not rushing to complete anything.

I would say between 40 and 50 hours on average for plat. No difficult trophies either, just a few tricky and mostly grinding ones.

Aside from FOTNS which is about 40 hours this is actually quite low for a musou game.

My other plats for Musou games are roughly as follows

Gundam Musou 3 70+
Dynasty Warriors Strike Force 80+
Dynasty Warriors 7 80+
Dynasty Warriors 7 XL 100+
Musou Orochi Z 200+
Samurai Warriors 3 250+

And yes it will almost certainly be a double platinum, every game except for Gundam Musou 3 is double platinum, some DW games are triple or quad with Chinese and Korean versions.

Do you mean the new versions of the strawhat's 9 marks? If so you do not need to be level 30 or any level from what I have seen. I got all of them as bonus coins from mission 11 (seems to be the quickest at 3 min and 5 bonus coins)

Well I've done mission 11 4 times in a row and nothing new unlocked whatsoever. I didn't even get any good coins.

100% sure I got all of them from mission 11 been doing it on normal those coins are rare.

I was playing on Normal too but nothing for me. Did you skip any of the scenes? I noticed doing so gives you less coins since you miss the QTE. Any other tips on exactly what you were doing?
