Trophy Boosting Thread

What your post should at least include (but not limited to):

To make everyone's life easier during boosting, please ensure you're familiar with the methods used to boost this game before you start.

If the boosting method requires a group to be organized and set up, please keep all discussions and planning in the boosting thread. Please do not create another thread.

If you feel that there's a much better and more preferred boosting method for certain online trophies not found in this thread or in the Trophy Guide, please post it in the Feedback Forums. Please do not post here, as it will be missed.

Ok, thanks to a guy who suddenly approached me, StingRay informed me that there are sadly online trophies. Not only that, you need to play with 5 different people 2 or 3 times to unlock rare coins needed for the skills trophy. Apparentely you only need 3, but there are 5 on offer.

It sucks that a purely offline game requires a bit of online play.
Oh well, not really much that we can do about it.

To summarise, you need to add someone to your friends list, you CANNOT play with 5 random people online, they have to be your friend. Play with them on 2 or 3 different levels and wait until it gives you the option to upgrade your coin to a rare one. Then move onto the next friend.

(Also, the online is very patchy at the moment, have had trouble connecting for 2 days already)

You have to do this with 5 "different" people. So unless you fancy trying to befriend 5 different random Japanese people online and convincing them in Japanese to join your friends list just for a trophy, then add your name here.

NOTE : You do NOT need a japanese PSN account in order to play online.

What a dull requirement. Do I need a Japanese account in order to play online with other players or not?

Little question... You need to play 2-3 times with 5 different people on your PSN list to get some rare coins but you need to play with the 5 persons at the same time or you need to play 2-3 times with only one, afther him 2-3 times with another one, and repeat it 5 times?

you only need to play with 3 people on your friends list one time each. If you play with them more than once you just upgrade their friend coin you do not get new ones. You can hold 5 friend coins but for the skill you only need 3.
