I have always been a fan of this serious and have played the PC version of this game 2years ago, so I know a few tricks around this game. So voted 3

I'd say it's around 2-3, but more of a 2, since you don't really need a lot of extra effort to gain all of the trophies. All of them will come naturally as you play and finish all parts of the games. For beginner player, playing the games might give some challenge, but as I have played Koei's strategy games since the era of NES, plus I also played the PC version, I'm very familiar with it, that's why it's a 2. It's just time consuming, conquest of a whole nation is a long process.
