Just want to ask if l miss certain scarabs on my first playthrough, can l just collect those missing ones on my second playthrough under a higher difficulty or do l need to recollect all 50 scarabs again?

you can do fiend challenges and find team ninja-logos you skipped in your first playthrough and get the trophy for all of them without beating/finding all of them again.
also you carry over your unlocked enhancements.

Seems the best place to ask. Been using this site Ninja Gaiden Sigma - ps3 - Walkthrough and Guide - Page 20 - GameSpy and funny thing is that I'm close at the end at my Master Ninja playthrough and it seems they only have 47 listed. So after doing some research I think I found the three it's missing thanks to How to Get All the Golden Scarabs in Ninja Gaiden Sigma | eHow.com.

It has 4 listed for chapter 11 while gamespy only has 2. The one on the traincar I got. But the one on top of the control room I don't. (which sucks cause it's unaccessable now)

And it has 9 listed for chapter 12 while gamespy only has 8. And I think it's referring to the second one. So anyone who has got them all 50 can provide me some insight?

One is in "Aquaduct B2" on a hidden ledge above the entrance to the Boss Room. The second is located above the tunnel you can access after defeating the eel boss. The third is in the Hall of Balance along the right side.

But I've looked like crazy but I seriously can't find one between the one on the ledge and the one in the hall of Balance.


Edit: nevermind, I found my answer in this thread Scarab #47 ... where is it in magma lake area with the flamethrowers?. So a big thanks to oval3096.

l can confirm that the GameSpy guide totally missed three golden scarabs.

Two in the warehouse in chapter 11. (One on the top of a train cart, the other on the top of the office)

The Third is the 9th scarab within chapter 12. lt is hidden not far from the save point before fighting the bird boss.
