Eh you can pseudo loop volf with the dragon sword. Just mash triangle so he can do his counterattack that knocks you down instantly dodging his first strike from his scythe. Dodge his three other strikes and resume triangle mashing till dead. Rinse and repeat. Oh and the initial knockdown does zero damage.
