Online Pass confirmed.

I buy 99% of my games "new" even though sometimes I may wait for a price drop. I just don't like when online passes prevent me from playing on multiple screen names or how I can no longer take a game to a friends house so they can check it out.

From a business viewpoint its a brilliant move. They know they f***ed up the SP, so basically the MP is the heart of this game. By limiting the online MP this forces us trophy hunters to purchase the full game or the stupid code on PSN.

What assholes Tecmo Koei are.

sony demands all multiplayer games have a online pass to it for now on. just like how the trophies got started. i was mad when they didnt add trophies to afro samurai, but since it was release before the date of enactment they was like fuck it...

most companies who fear for low sell do online pass also to rise no of copies.btw online pass code dumpiest idea.

I think going forward Sony requires them on games developed by studios they own (Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Insomniac, etc), but I believe other publishers are free to do as they please. Binary Domain just came out and that doesn't have an online pass.

My only problem with Online Passes is like Vapor said when they prevent you from playing on different screen names.

User locked online passes is fucking thievery. If it's system locked I have no problem with it.
Another thing is, this game better be run on fucking servers if you want people to pay for the online. Seriously... if it's just using my connection to host games you should be paying me to play online since my connection is the one hosting your online bitches.

This is true NGS2 is s..t for online. NINJA GAIDEN LAG 2 lol. Hope 3 have dedicated server. 4 vs 4 and no servers?

Guess we can start expecting this from all of the Tecmo titles...
I personally get all my stuff new/sealed whatever yet I still find online passes to be a fucking annoyance and a blight on this gen.

I was going to try out Ninja Gaiden 3 but after hearing about this I pretty much put this game in my boycott list.

Even without it I wouldn't be getting it anyway because of the direction they were going with this game apparently.

Tecmo Koei, you disappoint.
