I'm pretty sure this is the dream project of every anime fan in the States, right? I mean an epic RPG helmed by Level 5 and Studio Ghibli? It's too good to be true!
I like the fact that the English translation is using many different dialects to enhance the world. It's not just one group of people voicing a small band of people. As long as they keep this level of passion up through the end, it will probably be the best JRPG to come to the States in over a decade. =) (And if it's successful, can I start dreaming of a Gainax RPG? Because FLCL the game would make my high school self have an anime-inspired nose bleed.)

DAT OST. Hisaishi is one of my most respected musicians besides Yuki Kajiura. So, it's always nice to listen to his creations.
Doubtful. I was really surprised to see Ghibli collaborate with Level 5 on this project. These sort of partnerships are really rare. And, not to mention, Gainax isn't really a big studio. All their animes look like they are on a budget constraint. Last edited by sunnygrg; 06-06-2012 at 09:56 AM. |
