Boost unlocking problems

Hi.

I'm a bit upset with the fact that the game says "hey you unlocked a new boost slot and a new skater boost !!", then I go to my pro boost screen and I see that boost slots are still locked.

It was like that in NHL10, it's a real pain...

And the funniest part is I unlocked 2 Slot 1 and put a +1 boost on each. In my profile I can see the 2 +1 in my attributes. I go to my boost screen and 1 of my 2 slots is now locked...

Now I unlocked 3 slots, only 1 available. Yeahhhhhhh, thanks EA !!

I guess I'm not the only one...

ok i have NEVER had this problem and i've played EVERY NHL from 2006 even though BAP started in '09.

when it says new boost unlocked, it means the +1,+3, and +5 thing

and ur other problems idk what u talking about. i have never had ANY problems with BAP EXCEPT 4 the game freezing

We tested this tons, the most common issue is..Your unlocking a Boost not a Boost Slot. So you may think you unlocked something but can't equip it. Also not all equipment has all boosts. Yes we didn't do a very good job telling the user what boost they unlocked.

I'm sure that I unlocked the Slots 1 boost for helmet, stick and skates.
When I checked last night, I saw that 1 of my re-locked boost slot was win a HUT game online (I did it since I got the trophy for that), and the other re-locked slot is for being drafted in the first 2 rounds.

This part works fine for me. There are different messages for equipement and boosts

I thought this year that was not like this ?? I thought that every piece of equipement have 3 slots and that you have to unlock slots and not the equipement ??

There is one boost slot which says you have to win HUT onilne game.
I did it and got the trophy for it but slot is still locked. So I agree it's quite glitched

Probably, but I saw a guy that has the exact same problem I got on the EA forum

For those that have this problem: Does it say in the right upper corner that the game is "retreiving information from the store" or something similar? It usually take (a lot of) time before it gets that information and "unlocks" things. I've noticed this happening with my Playmaker boost pack, but I bought that one so it may just be an issue with bought stuff. But check it out as it may be true for unlocked stuff to.

Yup there's a thing like that. During this time you can't buy anything but when the window disappear, if you press Triangle, it will give you the option to buy the slot or the boost.

Just a question : do you go to "My pro" menu from the first menu screen or from Be a Pro menu ?
I don't know if the solution lies here because it's still locked for me in both menus

Is there a difference between EASHL boosts and Be a Pro boosts ?

I'll try to unlock a second time my re-locked boosts... I think I can sim the memorial cup to the draft and unlock the boost slot for being drafted in the first two round.
