Almost all of these trophies can be boosted online. To boost in NHL 10, go to the lobbies and choose an empty lobby to have both you and your boosting partner to go into. Invite him and you can begin boosting trophies.

Bronze Team
Be a member of an EA SPORTS Hockey League team that has won a Bronze Medal

-See "Gold Team"


Party Animal
Complete an EA SPORTS Hockey League match with 6 human controlled players on your team.

-This is easiest if done in the EASHL league that Pesico has set up for all of us. The link is here. Wait until there are 6 people in the same lobby, including yourself and then start up the game. You will receive this at the end of the game as long as no one leaves or quits the game.

It's a Challenge
Challenge and beat another EA SPORTS Hockey League team

-This one will come easy if you regularly play in the EASHL league. It helps if you challenge a bad team rather than a good team. This is also easier if you only have 2-3 people in the game including yourself. It takes less coordination this way and should produce an easier way for you to win. If you don’t win your first few games, don’t worry keep at it and you will get this.

Star Power
Get the first star in a match with your Be A Pro character

-An easy way to get this is to go into the gameplay section and turn the difficulty all the way down to rookie and adjust all the sliders so that the AI’s is at 0 and yours is at 100. This will make it extremely easy to score goals and get assists. If you get a hatrick (score 3 goals in a single game) then you are almost guaranteed to get this trophy!

Goal Master
Get 25 goals with your Be A Pro character

-Very, very easy trophy if you turn the difficulty all the way down along with the sliders. Right now I average 5 goals a game so if you even average one goal a game, which you should, you will get this very quickly. I would recommend to deke out your opponent so that the goalie allows more room in the net for you to score.
*Tip* Turn your teams shot to automatic.*Tip*

Assists King
Get 35 assists with your Be A Pro character

-This one is slightly harder than the goal trophy. When you are playing with your BaP character, make sure you press the R2 button and aim it towards the guy closest and to the opposite side of the goal. This will eventually unlock as long as you continue to pass the puck.

*Tip* If you see a teammate in a good scoring position, pass it to him with the R2 button, then press R1 when he gets the pass to force him to shoot.*Tip*

Goalie Legend
Win 5 matches with your Be A Pro character playing as a goalie

-Play in Be a Pro mode as a goalie and win 5 games. If you struggle, make sure you turn down the difficulty level and adjust all the sliders so that the AI’s is at 0 and yours is at 100.. Before going after this trophy, I advise you to play the Goalie Tutorial.

Out of the Box
Complete an Online Versus Play ranked match without getting a penalty

- If you are careful and don't mind a loss, this trophy should be very easy. Just don't use sticklift and pokecheck while also avoiding to hit the opponenet. If you play against a friend, you can just chill behind the net until the game is over and try to avoid doing anything that would make it a penalty. This will unlock when the game is over.

All Play
Complete and win an Online Versus Play ranked match with three or more guests on the same PS3 system

-There is no way around the controller issue here. You simply need 4 controllers. This can be done without friends though, as you can organize a ranked match and boost it. Refer to the boosting thread to find a boosting partner. You can use Rock Band controllers for this but not the microphone.

It's Not Easy
Beat a NHL team using an AHL team in an Online Versus Play ranked match

-When you are in the game lobby before the game hit the R1 button to go to the AHL teams and make sure that the person you are playing with is an NHL team. Beat your opponet and you will unlock the trophy

Faceoff King
Win 80% of the faceoffs in an Online Versus Play ranked match.

-You have to win 80% of the faceoff’s in an Online Versus Play ranked match. This is easily boosted since you can create a ranked match with someone on your friend list. Refer to the boosting thread to find a boosting partner.

Shootout Shutout
Win an Online Shootout ranked match without being scored on

-See "Shootout Master"

Shootout Master
Score three goals in a row in an Online Shootout ranked match

-This will be easiest with a boosting partner. Both of you should go into the Shootout lobby and one of you have to invite the other to a ranked shootout match. The game should be set so that each team will have 5 opportunities to shoot. Simply score on the 3 first penalty shots, and have your boosting partner skate backwards so he doesn't get the chance to score. Then repeat so that the other person gets the trophies.

It's the Playoffs
Complete an Online League playoff match

-This should come when you are going for "League Champion"

Call Me
Unlock 3 phones in Be a GM mode

-An easy way to unlock 3 phones in Be A GM mode is to edit the roster in the main menu. Just add all 90+ players to a team of your choosing. Just remember the teams you pick from cant have less than 18 players or less than 2 goalies. Then just sim the entire season and in between do some other things to gain xp points like scouting players. I had a 59 win season and I got lucky and even won the cup in my first season (even swept!). And if you really wanna ensure the wins just bring up crappy players from the AHL or national teams to the NHL teams that you will be playing.

Dump It
Dump the puck outside the offensive blue line 10 times in one match

-Very easy.
Just skate past the middle line of the rink, and hold the R1 button and push the right stick up before crossing the blue line. The skater will then dump the puck into the offensive sone. Repeat 9 more times and this trophy will unlock on the 10th dump.

Line Juggler
Do five manual line changes in one match

-Simple enough. Make sure you have default controls on before you do this. Turn on manual line changes and press the square/circle button. Do this 5 times and the trophy will pop up.

Board Play
Pin a player using board play and gain possession of the puck

-This was explained in the tutorial so you should know how to do it. Pin your boosting partner against the boards and press the R1 button to start poking the puck lose. When you gain possession, the trophy will unlock.

Gameplay Master
Perform a loose puck deke and score a goal

-This is easiest when done on a break away. Hit the L1 button+X then skate towards the puck and score. This is easiest done if you have a boosting partner. Have him pull his goalie then do the loose puck deke and score.

Self Sacrifice
Score a goal with an injured player

-Do this in season mode so that you have more to work with. Wait until one of your teammates gets hurt. When the player is injured, dress him and put him in the game. Pass the puck to the injured player and make sure you score with him in that game.

*Tip*Make sure to turn all the sliders down so that they are in your favor.*Tip*

Hardcore Superstar
Play and win a match on Hardcore Superstar settings against the CPU

-From the main menu go to My NHL 10 --> settings ---> Gameplay settings. Now change the skill level to superstar. You CANNOT adjust the sliders. I would also recommend you choose the Eastern Conference All Stars vs a AHL team to make it even easier. You can also edit the players so that everyone on your team has a 99 rating and the opposing team has a rating of 50.

Unlock Gloves
Earn a pair of 2 slot gloves

-To get this trophy, you must unlock one of the three 2 slot gloves.

-Camo Gloves: Play and complete an offline game with each Swiss league team.
-Maori Gloves: With your created sniper character get all A's in a Be a Pro game.*
-Burnout Gloves: Play and complete an offline game with each Swedish League team

* By adjusting sliders in your favor, and putting the game on rookie difficulty, it should be easy to do this in one game.

Unlock Skates
Earn a pair of 2 slot skates

-Unlock one of the following skates to earn this trophy. Look in the menu for how to unlock them. Most of them include scoring a certain amount of goals or assists in a season.

-Camo Skates: With your created Be a Pro skater get promoted to the first line of your NHL team
as a forward*
-Burnout Skates: Play and complete an offline game with each NHL team

* If you go for the Camo Skates, you can set the game to rookie difficulty and adjust sliders in your favor. Do not sim to many games in a row as it will demote you down, rather than promote you to better lines. To get this faster, you can sim and push intervene right after the score for the third period shows up. This will make you play the last 5 minutes of the game, and if you score a goal, you should get high enough ratings.

Battle for the Cup
Win a Battle for the Cup series with an Elite league team in a 7 game series against the CPU

-Set up a 7 game series in Battle for the Cup mode and win it with an Elite league team. To make it easier, you can play on the easiest difficulty setting and in casual gameplay mode. To get this, you need to choose an elite team however; not a NHL team. Go over to the German or Swedish league and there will be a list of teams. Choose one of them and beat another team that is controlled by the CPU. You can sweep them as long as the series is set to 7 games, meaning you will need to win 4 games before the other team does.

Eager to Learn
Complete the Boot Flow Interactive Tutorial

-This will be the first trophy you will earn when you get the game. Simply complete the tutorial and the trophy will unlock. If you decided to exit the tutorial, you can still do acces it from the menusystem.

New Beginnings
Complete a match using NHL 94 Control settings

-Before you start the game, go to settings and set it to NHL 94 Control settings. Then just complete the match. No need to win it. I would advise to set the settings back to normal afterwards.

Silver Team
Be a member of an EA SPORTS Hockey League team that has won a Silver Medal

-See "Gold Team"

Point Leader
Get 60 points with your Be A Pro character

-Play in Be a Pro mode and get 60 points with your Be a Pro character. This can be done over several seasons if needed. Pointcount is goals and assists added together.

No Offsides
Complete an Online Versus Play ranked match without being called for an offside

-This one should come naturally while working towards the Century Play trophy. If you struggle with this one, make sure you play extra careful, and don't care to much about the outcome of the game. An offside occurs when you have a player in the offensive sone before the puck is passed over the offensive blueline.

No Icing
Complete an Online Versus ranked match without being called for icing

-Like the No Offsides trophy, this one should also come naturally while working towards the Century Play trophy and is even easier. An icing occurs when you clear the puck from your own half and over to the far side behind the opposing teams red line while at the same time, the opposing team gets the puck first (NHL rules). Just don't clear the puck from your own half for one game and you should easily get this trophy.

League Champion
Win an Online League that has at least 4 members

-You have to take part in an online league that has at least 4 members, and finish the league in first place. Refer to the boosting thread to get help on this one.

Look No Goalie
Pull your goalie and score a goal against the CPU or an online opponent in a ranked match

-This trophy can either be done offline against the CPU, or in an online ranked match. No matter what type of game you choose, you have to pull your goalie and score a goal. If you play a lot of games, this should come normally, but can be easily boosted. Set up a game against a friend and make sure it's ranked. Both of you should then pull the goalie, and score a goal. After that, repeat so that the other person also gets this trophy.

Don't Let Up
Score four unanswered goals against the CPU or an online opponent in a ranked match

-This trophy can either be done offline against the CPU, or in an online ranked match. No matter what type of game you choose, you have to score four goals in a row, without the opposing team scoring on you. For offline play, set it to Rookie difficulty and set the gameplay type to casual. This should make it rather easy. Even easier would be to organize a ranked online match with a friend where both of you can get this in the same match. One of you can pull the goalie, while the second one scores. Repeat this three more times, then change roles so both get the trophy.

Pressure Play
Keep the pass completion % for CPU or online opponent in ranked match under 40%

-This trophy can either be done offline against the CPU, or in an online ranked match. No matter what type of game you choose, you have to hold the opposition to a pass completion percentage of less than 40%. The best tip I have for this one is to play a ranked online match with a friend where you set the gametype to Hardcore. This makes passing much more harder. Simply, make sure that both teams have a passing percentage of less than 40% and both of you should get the trophy.

Break Away
Score two break away goals in one match

-You can easily use the same method as you did for "Century Play". Just have your boosting partner move all his guys back to the other end of the rink and make sure to have your partners goalie pulled. Listen to the announcers, they will say something about you being on a breakaway. If you are boosting the 100 goals trophy, then make sure your boosting partner has his goalie pulled and have him move his guys away from you when you have the puck. Do this twice and you will unlock this trophy.
*This trophy will unlock at the end of the game.

Fighting Major
Accept and win a fight against a human controlled opponent

-Not a tough trophy at all. Simply go online and keep hitting the triangle button until your opponent accepts the fight and win it. Make sure to dodge and use power punches. It also helps if you use a defensemen against a center or one of the wings. I would recommend just hitting the right stick as fast as you can.

Gold Team
Be a member of an EA SPORTS Hockey League team that has won a Gold Medal

-To get this one, you have to be part of an EASHL team, and the team have to have at least one gold medal. Getting this trophy automatically nets you Silver Team and Bronze Team . This is the most diffucult trophy in the game. Your team will have to be in the very top percentage of your league as the season comes to an end (monthly). To get this trophy to unlock, go to your team, then go into the Awards menu. When you push circle button to get out, you will unlock this and the Silver and Bronze team trophies after a short pause.

-Once your EASHL team earns all these, the trophy will unlock. To get this trophy to unlock, go to your team, then go into the Awards menu. When you push circle button to get out, you will unlock this and the Silver and Bronze team trophies after a short pause.

Grade A
Get an overall A rating in a match with your Be A Pro character

-This trophy has been very buggy for many people. To get this, you will need to earn an overall A for your players grade. Make sure that you pass the puck, score at least one goal, and get no penalties. If you get a penalty, make sure that the other team does not score and make sure you intercept some passes from the other team and block some shots. You can set the game to Rookie difficulty and adjust sliders in your favor to make it easier.

*Tip*If you don't get this trophy after meeting the requirements, you have to start a new BAP save. No need to delete any saves.*Tip*

Century Play
Score a total of 100 goals in Online Versus Play ranked matches over your career

-There are two ways to go about getting this trophy. You can boost this or play this legit. If you are boosting this, get a friend in the trophy boosting thread, located here. Once you have a partner, get in a ranked game and choose which of you are going to be going for this first. Once that is done, have your boosting partner pull his goalie by hitting L1+Select buttons. Skate past the blue line and shoot towards the net and you should score. With this method you should easily score 70+ goals per game.

Raise Your Banner
Acquire all Bronze, Silver, and Gold Trophies

-Collect all the other trophies to get the Platinum.

The Grade A trophy Im pretty sure is online only. I just got an overall A in game offline with ratings of A+ A- and A+ and didnt get the trophy.

Its also in the top grouping of other Be a Pro online trophies. Anyone else confirm/deny this? If you are supposed to be able to get it offline as well then I just got ripped off/its glitched.

Ok figured it out. You can get it offline but its either one of these two things:

You have to have at least an A in each category (Team Player, Positioning, Stats), meaning A- or lower doesnt count. OR you actually need an A+ overall grade and not just A.

I just got A+, A, A+ and overall grade was an A+ and got the trophy.
