General Driving tips?

I just can't seem to figure out the handling in this game, I'm not saying its awful or anything but its definitely different.

I seemed to Nail hot pursuit, Burnout: Paradise and most recently Driver most recently quite quickly but not this.

I'm aware of the basic rules such as slowing down for corners but I just can't seem to get a lot of corners right, and the handbrake does weird, weird things sometimes.

Don't use the handbrake, I almost never use it in this game. Just lift, clip the apex and off you go. Brake steer into the apex in hairpins.

Lost all motivation to even play games at the moment, Half way through GOW:Ascension and I just don't feel like playing anymore Hmmmmmm.
