I got this on my first play of my first Road To Glory game as a Free Safety. I pulled off the guy I was supposed to be covering and helped the Cornerback double cover his guy. The QB threw it right at me. If you play as a CB, FS or SS you will eventually get a pass thrown at you, you just have to take advantage of it when it comes.

Finally was able to get this. First time I failed due to the corruption glitch, but made a new and it unlocked on my first play. After so many hours of trying, now I feel silly as it's so much easier to do now.

Finally got it. For those who are having trouble this is what I did:

1. Pick Texas Tech and edit a CB's stats to 99 for everything in Edit Roster under Team Management. Make him 7'0.
2. Edit QB's throwing power to 0.
3. Edit ALL OTHER CBs, FSs, and SSs to 0 for Catching, Spectacular Catch, Catch in Traffic, and Jumping. Also make them 5'5. (You don't want to almost catch the ball just to have one of your annoying CPU teammates catch it.)
4. Edit ALL OTHER WRs to 0 Jumping and Catch in Traffic. For Speed, Agility, and Acceleration, I decreased their stats to under 40 to make their overall 40. Also make them 5'5.
5. Start RTG mode. Make it Freshman difficulty with 100 Interception for User and 0 for everything CPU except Pass Blocking. Make that 100 (Prevents Sacks). Save RTG.
6. Do practice mode and don't touch the controller. Let the computer do all the movement for you. When the QB makes a pass in your direction, hold L2 and press .

Because you edited everyone else's Jumping and Catch stats to 0 and height to 5'5, no one should interfere with you catching the ball. I got the trophy about 8 plays into practice the first time I tried going for the trophy with these adjustments. Good luck and happy hunting!

That's how I was feeling last night. Got 3 interceptions, no trophy. Going to keep plugging away, varying the timing of L2. But first I will try deleting all my save data to start fresh. I remember seeing a corrupted save file for one of my heisman game saves. I deleted it, but maybe there is still some corrupted data somewhere. Maybe this is the key to the trophy not unlocking. Last trophy I need for platinum.


EDIT: Day 3. Approximately 25-30 interceptions. No trophy. Ridiculous. Tried deleting all data, restarting RTG mode. Nothing is working. I have varied the timing of L2. Have gotten interceptions in Practice and in Games. I have 5400+ trophies, 97 plats. This has vaulted to my #1 most frustrating trophy. Congrats EA. You suck.

That method worked for me. As soon as I saw where the pass was headed and that it was near me, I held down and hit when the ball was right there. It worked the first time. The only explanation that I found for why some people are having trouble is that they're holding down from right after the snap instead of after the QB throws the ball.

I have been activating L2 right after the quarterback releases the ball. A few others have mentioned hitting L2 a split second before picking the pass off, or even hitting L2 and triangle at the same time. Thoughts? 40+ interceptions, no trophy. Tried the cornerback suggestion, the free safety suggestion. Ugh. Also, how long after the interception do you keep L2 held down? Thanks for the help.

im also having problems with this trophy, got a few int's but it wont pop. How do i tell if my file is corrupted?
