Lock and Load Trophy

I played with two controllers and was Oklahoma and played against San Jose State (D rated defense). For San Jose, I picked a play where the receiver was the only player on that side of the field. Then I hot routed him straight out. For Oklahoma, I picked a play where the CB drops back into coverage about 10 yards out. I chose him, moved back about 10 yards from the receiver, pressed to lock (and & to get the spotlight trophy as well) and lobbed it to the receiver. Since the CB was in the area, he intercepted it and I took it back for a touchdown. Also, San Jose was only on their own 25 yard line, making the run back after the interception shorter.

Took me about 4 tries. Seemed easier to do this year than last year.

I finally did this after a lot of tries and the trophy didn't pop. Can you not simulate or something?

**edit** Did it again and it popped, thankfully that time took a lot shorter.. did not sim at all this time. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

How do you sim for this trophy? It's not possible. At all. You have to physically press the correct buttons to turn on player lock or to turn on spotlight (for the other trophy).

I meant sim the offensive side of my game. I just wanted to play the defense.

Got this trophy easily with help from a buddy. One person just lob a slant route and have the other person locked on, jump in front and take the interception to the house.

I did this myself and within three tries actually.

For offense, I picked a trips right with a lone WR on the left side. I called a cover 4 on D and locked onto the defender covering the left most deep circle and moved him back there before the snap.
Back on offense I called a streak for the lone WR and quick slants right for EVERYONE else.

While holding the D's controller in my hand and the offense's laying flat on my couch, I took my right hand and snapped the ball with my finger. I hit right on the left stick and pressed square to throw then quickly pressing circle and moving the stick to create user control.
I then fully went back to the D's controller in my hand and caught the ball. While running back down field, I'd move the left stick and constantly change players with the other controller keeping the two players who might have had a shot on me away. Clean break for the score.

This is the only trophy I have left to earn in the game. I have tried it by myself, and with a friend, and with player lock on we can't get an interception to save our life.

Are yall using the default settings and at which difficulty are yall playing?

Any help would be appreciated as I spent 2 hours last night with a friend trying to earn it to no avail.

Finally got it. Friend came back over and we just ran the same play over and over and over and over. Took us little over an hour today.

I used 2 controllers with help from a friend. We set close to goal line and ran curl route, it worked after a few tries.

We did a Hail Mary play with 3 on the right and 1 on the left. Had to change the defense to be aggressive so they would go for the pick and not bat the damn ball. Once my friend got the pick, I just kept pressing circle and moving all of the defenders away from him.

Seemed impossible until I changed the defense to aggressive. Took 4 tries after that.
