Introduction:

You earn xp by completing single player races and doing challenges in free ride. You start the game with 2 National races, 2 short track races and 2 free ride areas. By the time you finish the 4 races, you’ll likely only be level 3 or 4 so you’ll spend the majority of your time in free roam mode trying to complete challenges. You can replay races as many times as you want to farm for XP. This makes the game somewhat repetitive but it's necessary.

Walkthrough:

Well there's not really any specific order that events need to be done in this game because you can do races in any order. You're basically trying to earn XP in every Single Player race, Online race or Free Ride so that you can level up to level 50 and get "Record Chaser". You'll often finish all your events once before you unlock new events. To avoid getting bored and having to do the same races over and over again, try to finish as many challenges in Free Rides as you can and play some Online races. This will not only add some variety to the game but it will also help you work towards the online trophies. You can race on any difficulty but there are race goals where you need to win on different difficulties. To get the platinum as fast as possible, always make the number of laps the minimum that you can and race on the highest difficulty that you can still win on as you get bonus XP for racing on higher difficulties.

Trophy Guide:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/892/01.jpg Platinum Trophy (P)

Win all Bronze, Silver and Gold Trophies

Earn all the other trophies, to get this one.

Offline Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/43.jpg Record Chaser (G)

Reach Rider XP Level 50, chasing records is all that is left.

This will likely be your last trophy as it’s very time consuming. Just keep playing and playing and eventually you’ll get it. You earn XP for completing races (both online and offline), completing race goals and completing free ride challenges. You will need 263,000 XP to reach level 50.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/43.jpg Podium Pro (G)

Earn a podium on each track.

A podium finish is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place finish. You must finish in a podium position on every track.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Greatest of All Time (G)

Win a race at every track.

Similar to “Podium Pro” however you have to actually come in 1st place on every track for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg That Was Close (S)

Save 100 wrecks using wreck avoidance.

You’ll notice that when you land awkwardly an arrow appears that will point either forward, backwards, left or right. Simply avoid wrecking by pressing the arrow that appears. You should get the majority of your wreck avoidances in free roam.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/19.jpg Bully (S)

Complete 50 overtakes using bar banging.

You perform a bar bang by riding next to an opponent and leaning into him with the :rs:. You have to pass the opponent that you bar bang 50 times for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg Factory Garage (S)

Own a 3 star vehicle for each class.

You level up your vehicle in races and free roams and you can keep track by going to the main menu and looking in the bottom right corner. There are 6 classes; 150cc bike, 250cc bike, 450cc bike, 150cc atv, 250cc atv and 450cc atv. You need 11,625xp to reach a 3 star rank with a 150cc vehicle, 14,531 for a 250cc and around 17,000 for the 450cc.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/39.jpg Hot Streak (S)

Win 5 races in a row.

Win 5 races in a row in either single or multi player.

Tip from Blessorship:

You can restart a race through the pause menu if you know you aren't going to win and it won't reset your count. Although I do not think you can restart at the end of the race if you don't win. I can confirm you can reset during the race.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/43.jpg New Hero, for Now (S)

Defeat James Stewart in a race

At level 25, James Stewart will start to be in your races. You will need to come in first to get this trophy because Stewart will always come in first if you don't.

Tip: Stewart only races if you have a 450cc bike equipped. Thanks to shaunnn191 for the tip

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/19.jpg All Around Talent (S)

Achieve every level 1 Race Goal.

There are quite a few race goals and you need to complete the 1st level of each of these. On the main menu go to Records, then Race Goals. There is a list of all the race goals and you need to finish the first level of each. There are roman numerals at the top of the page, I=level 1, II=level 2, III=level 3. If you scroll down the list, you'll notice that you have to win 20 races on rookie, 20 on amateur, 10 on Pro and 5 on All Time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg Free Ride Pro (S)

Get at least a silver in all the Challenges in a Free Ride event

While in a free ride event, press start then press :square: and you can review your challenges. You can also view your challenges from the Records section of the main menu under Free Ride Challenges.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Challenger (B)

Earn a medal in a Free Ride Challenge.

Simply go into Free Ride, press start, then :square: and complete one of those challenges to earn a medal.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Testing the Waters (B)

Hydroplane over 120 feet of water.

Hydroplaning is driving fast enough over water so that your mx or atv “drives” on the water without sinking. This is best to be done in the Devil’s Playground Free Ride along the shoreline. Simply build up some speed, drive into the water and pull back on  You can crash in the water afterwards, you don't need to make it out of the water without drowning. Here's a video below. The quality isn't great and I'll replace it when a better video appears but this still shows how to do it.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MSisfWh-tI]Testing the Waters Trophy[/ame]

Video credit goes to MOTiVATEDxDEViL from youtube

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Medal Chaser (B)

Win a Gold medal in a Free Ride Challenge.

The easiest gold medals to earn are for finding the hidden vehicles in each Free Ride although this trophy can be done on any challenge. Refer to "Play Rides" for videos that show you how to find the vehicles.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Rollerball (B)

Complete 5 overtakes with bar banging in a race.

Refer to “Bully

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg High Miles (B)

Ride for over 100 miles in Free Ride.

This will come over time if you drive around in Free Ride although it will likely need to be farmed because 100 miles is likely more than it will take you to get gold medals on all the challenges in Free Ride.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg Play Rides (B)

Find the bonus vehicle in all of the Free Ride events.

There is 1 bonus vehicle in Quarry and 1 in Devil’s Playground. There are videos below that should help although neither of them are too difficult to find.

Devil's Playground:

Bryn Carreg Quarry: (not a great video but it's the best available)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Ouch (B)

Wreck 50 times.

Will come quickly. In Free Ride you will likely wreck yourself quite a bit trying to do stunts. Wrecks in races also count.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg Fast Lap(B)

Capture a record lap time.

I got this on my first lap I ever played so it should come naturally. While racing, right before the finish lap for a new lap, there will be a white flag in the top right corner of your screen. I believe this mean you’ve beaten a record lap time. As I said before, this should come very easily.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Top of the Line(B)

Own a 3 star MX or ATV.

Refer to “Factory Garage

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg On the Edge (B)

Save 35 wrecks using wreck avoidance.

Refer to “That Was Close

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/42.jpg True Skills (B)

Change your Rider Skills.

You unlock rider skills as you progress through the game. You need at least 3 in order to change them. Go to Equip Rider Skill from the main menu to change them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg Cover the Bases (B)

Finish at least one race at each track.

There are 16 tracks in the game. This trophy can be done in Single Player and/or multiplayer.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg Looking Cool (B)

Customize your vehicle or rider.

From the main menu go to Change Vehicle or Change Rider and simply alter something.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/11.jpg On the Right Track (B)

Finish a race without going off track.

Going off track is where you race outside the track. The track is marked by tires and other things. If you go off track your screen will fade and a giant Off Track message will appear on screen. Simply finish the race without going off track. It doesn’t matter what position you finish in.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/39.jpg Inverted (B)

Land a back flip.

The best way to this is to find a high jump in Free Ride mode. The easiest Free Ride to do this on is the James Stewart Compound but it's possible in the Quarry and Devil's Playground.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/39.jpg Green to Checkers (B)

Get the holeshot and win a race.

The holeshot is where you are first to pass through a red and white gate that is around the first corner. Get the holeshot, and win the race. Refer to "Holeshot King" for tips on how to get the holeshot.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg Getting Comfortable (B)

Earn a podium 3 races in a row.

A podium finish is 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a race. This should come naturally and it’s fairly easy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg Off and Racing (B)

Finish a race.

Basically impossible to miss. Just finish a race, position doesn’t matter.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg MotoSport Holeshot King (B)

Capture 3 holeshots in a row.

A holeshot is where you jump out to first place as soon as the race starts. To get a holeshot, hold :l1: until your clutch meter is full. This will give you an extra boost out of the gate. You must do this 3 races in a row.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg YeeeeHawww (B)

Pull a wheelie over 150 feet.

A wheelie is where you lean back and maintain your balance while riding on your back wheel. Ride for over 150 ft on your back wheel for this trophy. You will know if you’re doing a wheelie because yellow text will appear the top of your screen that says Wheelie. I was having some problems with this until I started using this method. Start from a stand still. Gas it with :r2: and lean back with  like you usually would and when you start to tip backwards and you think you're gonna fall, just sorta tap the brake :l2:. Once you get the method down, you can wheelie for a very long time. I wheelied for over 300ft when before I couldn't hit 150. It's a feel thing but sorta tap the brake but DON'T let go of the gas :r2: or the lean back .

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg When it Counts (B)

Win a race after not leading until the last lap.

Stay in 2nd the whole race until the last lap then pull ahead of the first place opponent and win.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/02.jpg Radical Dude (B)

Win the race and do a 360 over the finish line jump.

At the finish line there is always a jump. Simply pull a 360 stunt over one of them and land it. I personally got it on the track 45 Palms MX and didn't have an issue once I found out how to pull a 360. To pull a 360 hold :r1: just before the jump, the manual says flick the :rsleft: or :rsright: then  however I couldn't do a 360 that way. I held :r1: off the jump then I just pulled the :rsleft: or :rsright: and pulled the :ls: the same way at the same time. I found this easier however the first way is how the manual says to do it.

Tip from Blessorship: A great place to get this trophy is at the Oceanview event in the Nationals series which is available once you reach rider level 10.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/39.jpg Showtime (B)

Pull off 100 stunts.

You pull a stunt by holding :r1: and moving the :rs: stick in any direction. Simply do 100 stunts and land them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/39.jpg Getting Known (B)

Reach Rider XP Level 2 and meet James Stewart.

Visit the MotoClub Depot.

You can access the MotoClub Depot from the main menu.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/892/07.jpg Underdog (B)

Beat a rider with a higher Rider XP than you.

This must be done online. Just beat someone who is a higher level than you. If they’re the same level as you, they still have to have more rider XP.

Nice guide pal, I'm still undecided whether to get this. Really enjoyed the last one but was p*ssed off with that win against 11 trophy (too much trouble to get) and it sucked out the enjoyment for me.

Thanks :D

The game so far is pretty fun. The gameplay is solid, little to no gameplay glitches or anything. However it does get repetitive because I think the game was designed to be played online more often. I think the win 35 races in gonna be difficult so I can see the need for boosting perhaps but I probably would've had 15-20 if the online was up. Basically just sorta mix in an online race or two every now and then as you're getting to level 50. Other than that the online trophies aren't too bad. My problem is gonna be beating another racer with higher XP than me because although I'm not really a high level in the game yet, it takes a long time to level up. I have a feeling online races give you more XP though.

Just rented this one from Family Video. I've got the plat in REFLEX so definitly thinking this one should be do-able. Thanks for the guide.

Np. If only more people were playing I could add more videos. I could technically make my own videos but I'd have to change around my setup a lot and it's a big hassle. If you have any questions just ask though.

And yes this game is very plattable and I think it's pretty easy but it will definitely take a long time and it'll be boring until psn comes back online.

Difficulty does affect one trophy in the game:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-h3GwE=.jpg All Around Talent (S)

Achieve every level 1 Race Goal.

To obtain this trophy you have to win:

20 races on Rookie difficulty

20 races on Amatuer difficulty

10 races on Pro difficulty

5 races on All Time difficulty

Also a little tip for anyone struggling with:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-r80mc=.jpg Hot Streak (S)

Win 5 races in a row.

You can restart a race through the pause menu if you know you aren't going to win and it won't reset your count. Although I do not think you can restart at the end of the race if you don't win. I can confirm you can reset during the race. This is how I got my trophy.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-9eOZ4=.jpg MotoSport Holeshot King (B)

Capture 3 holeshots in a row.

You still have a chance to win the holeshot even if you aren't first out of the gate. The holeshot goes to the first person to reach the first red and white gate after the start of the race.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-mX45I=.jpg Radical Dude (B)

Win the race and do a 360 over the finish line jump.

A great place to get this trophy is at the Oceanview event in the Nationals series which is available once you reach rider level 10.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-rP63s=.jpg Racing Forward (B)

Almost Pro, Reach Rider XP Level 18.

I don't know if it's worth mentioning in the guide, but just for reference sake the amount of XP needed to reach rider level 18 for the Racing Forward trophy is 77,000.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1786/5-rP63s=.jpg It's On (B)

Welcome to the big leagues, it's time to race James Stewart, Pro Rider XP Level 25.

The amount of XP need to reach rider level 25 is 113,000.

Has anyone reached rider level 50 yet? How much XP does it take? I'd assume it takes 226,000 but it may be more.

Thanks Blessorship. I added what you said and gave credit.

I haven't reached level 25 yet. I've been busy the last couple days and I've been bored of playing the same races over and over again. I'm gonna wait till the MP comes online I think. Any more contributions you can make would be helpful.

I actually added something into the roadmap about having to change difficulty but I forgot to change the trophy overview up top :p

You can boost 35 wins online using Private Matches.

Simply host a private match, invite your boosting partner and sest it up like this:

Activity type: Short course

Track name: Kinoko

Laps to run: 5

Locations: 5 (make all Kinoko)

Vehicle: 450MX is fastest

Doing this is the quickest and easiest way to get 35 wins. But beware it is time consuming! There are at least 2 minutes worth of countdown timers, and loading screens between each race.

Note: This method will also give you your "Finish 5 races ahead of half the field" requirement towards the All Around Talent trophy.

This trophy is much harder than people are making it out to be. You can do it on the first National track. You just need to get enough speed and I suggest hitting the jump at the angle you're planning to turn your bike. This helps the bike twist in the air. It gives it a head start sorta.

I agree with Matty, it was my initial suggestion to get it at Oceanview under Nationals becuase that's where I finaly landed it. But it may be easier for you at 45 Palms, it seems the landing is a bit more forgiving and you may have a better chance at sticking it.
