What Band/Artist did you get into because your parents like them. I got into U2,Coldplay,Snow Patrol,Michael buble and Florence and the Machine because my parents listened to them.

Only Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses and AC/DC. My father has good taste ^^.

My parents have like the worst taste of music, they don't like new pop, rock & rap songs, and hate techno & dubstep. But the only artist they got me into that i can think of now is Queen. They're awesome! I know teh lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody 100%

Rammstein, and pretty much the whole Industrial music genre from my dad, which later got me into basic Metal and now I listen to Metal with crazy time sigs and shit. All of that also influenced me to learn guitar a few years back, and I've been playing ever since.

My parents didn't influence any of my musical tastes, or anyone else for that matter. Although my wife did get me into Muse and Radiohead.

My dad does like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, but he also likes Steps, Lady Gaga and Pussycat Dolls. Too varied for me!
