What a waste of money, I feel ripped off. Spent half an hour waiting for a Wanted match in the new maps, 2 people came and left. This is so disappointing, I was really looking forward to play on Siena
Is it just my connection? Are you guys able to find non-boosting matches? |

The Map Pack DLC was pretty generally boycotted by fans of the franchise. There were a few threads about this on the official Ubisoft forums, if I recall correctly. I ended up buying the map packs because I wanted San Donato and Siena back (and was interested in the new maps)... but after the first week or so, I've never been able to find more than 1 active lobby at any time (and usually, I cannot even connect to that one lobby).
In retrospect, it was a waste of cash. Jerusalem and Dyers are awesome new maps, but I haven't even gotten to know all nooks and crannies yet because the only way I can play them is in Training Ground by myself.

It's really disappointing. I actually managed to connected to a manhunt lobby today (luckily it was Jerusalem and I got to pick The Brigand), but so far not a single Wanted session. I've been trying for an hour now and it's so frustrating that the game lets you wait only for a minute before throwing you to a completely different mode (If I wanted to play that mode, I would've chosen it for crying out loud!). And not only that, but you have to actually spawn on the map before quitting, ugh.
How can you choose those maps in training session? I've read that you can boost "Straw Hat" and "Up and Down" in training, but I haven't seen an option to select those maps while picking training. |

I believe it's a separate category under the Training Ground option. I haven't used this in quite a few months, so I cannot be a hundred percent sure of the exact steps needed to get to the new maps on the Training mode... but I know you can get there, as it was the first thing I did when I got the new maps.

Yeah I found it, it was under 'private on extra maps'
The guide is a bit misleading regarding 'Up and Down' trophy, as you cannot pick Assassinate as a training ground. Got 'Straw Hat', on training unfortunately. Would love to do those trophies legit, hate Ubisoft for throwing me into Artifact Assault every time.

And indeed, you cannot do any of the mode-specific trophies on Training Ground. I got all the trophies the legit way in the first week after the DLC came out (when people were still playing it), except for the Assassinate one... and I ended up having to boost that one with a member of this forum. Which took like 30 seconds and it would've taken me 30 seconds in a legit match, but I could never find a single game of Assassinate ever on the DLC maps, let alone one on the Imperial map.

Yeah, no one wants to play Wanted. Just Artifact Assault. :/
If you guys want it, I got another person that is needing it as well and we can do a private wanted on that map and get it in seconds. Just shoot me a PSN message at my username here and I'll see if they are still wanting to do it. |

I've managed to get all but the wanted trophy legitimately. I haven't played wanted on any of the extra maps yet, let alone Sienna. Every time there's a vote with wanted as a choice, I always lose the vote because at least one person always chooses the option with the same game mode. Add me on PSN if you're still looking to get it (I'll help with others too if you want).

I was trying to vote wanted in but four idiots wanted Deathmatch (Why? It doesn't award you anything and the small maps suck like that). I kept playing that round until I got down to three people: Me and two hackers. Fun. You ain't kidding about losing the vote. I keep trying to change it to Wanted but people want Manhunt (okay, I would do this normally) or Artifact Assault (which I loath). Ugh. |

I bought the map pack a couple of months after it had been released. I go through spells of playing the AC multiplayer, so I thought the new maps would help keep the experience fresh at least for a week or two. Obviously like everybody else has found out, finding a lobby that's playing anything but Wanted or Manhunt is nigh on impossible, and I don't think I've ever actually played the Siena map, which is a huge disappointment.
In retrospect, it was obviously a waste of money. It wasn't the trophies that bothered me so much, more the fact that these maps haven't been integrated into the standard map rotation somehow, which has resulted in the AC multiplayer community being splintered once again
