War Of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. Worst ending.

When I heard they were remaking that I somewhat raged since I knew what a mess of a job would be made. Lots of foreign movies have been getting the hollywood treatment over the past few years and the results are always the same.

With Let Me In, the creators completely missed the point of Let The Right One In. They just added a higher budget, put in more violence and cast a young starlet whose riding on a wave of popularity.

And next to be butchered is the Troll Hunter....oh joy

Those who said the movie was bad shouldn't be trusted. Disliking TSR equals absence of taste.

When Rocky IV came out, thought the victory over Dolph Lundgren's character by Rocky was exciting. The theatre was sold out and people in the audience were cheering. I have never seen that reaction before or since. Great ending.

Oh I totally agree with this... This is definitely the most remarkable ending I've ever seen to a film!

A lot of movies had awesome endings...

But the only thing that is coming to my mind right now is the worst ending.

It was Somewhere in Time...

It was all about this guy using his mind to go back in time. He fell in love with a girl. The only way he could go back to the present time, he would have to think of it. He never did, and chose to stay with the woman in the past. Then one day, he accidentally opens up his pocket from an old vest, and pulls out a penny from his time... and BOOM! He's back in the present. He couldn't get back to the past. He ended up just sitting alone in a chair in a hotel, and starved himself to death. It was the most pointless movie I've ever seen. And the ending made it that.

Wow... of all the endings to pick for the worst... Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring..? That's just an epic fail...

The book ends this way though.

I just looked it up since I couldn't remember the ending exactly, but (in the book) the Aliens caught the cold because there was no bacteria on Mars therefore they had no immunity. It's quite logical.
