I pretty much only watch films that aren't in english, so my favourite films not in english are actually just my favourite films.

So: I'll just with go with my favourite film by my favourite film-maker: Millennium Mambo by Hou Hsiao-Hsien; it also has my favourite opening sequence of any film:

Also, if we are counting some of Tommy Wiseau's lines from The Room not of the english language, then that would be number 1.

Bought the DVD in America but it's in French with Subtitles... I love it!

Raise the Red Lantern (Mandarin Chinese), based off the novel "Wives and Concubines"
It stars my girl Gong Li!! She's also in Memoirs of a Geisha, another of my favorite movies based on books.
