Default Your ideal actors / actresses for a "Marvel vs Capcom" movie?

Chun Li - Zhao Wei
Spiderman - Tobey Maguire
Wolverine - Hugh Jackman
Hulk - Eric Bana
Ironman - Robert Downey Jr.
Psylocke - Catherine Zeta Jones
Black Cat - Holy Valance
Emma Frost - Jodie Foster

How about you guys? What's you're ideal cast for a "MvC" movie?

Fighting game movie adaptions never work (click: Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, Street Fighter...again, Tekken). With that being said, and with the amount of actors they would have to hire for a Marvel vs Capcom movie, I don't think it would ever work. For hypothetical purposes, and so i'm not called a troll, I would definately want everyone who ever played in a marvel movie to reprise their roll in the movie (except for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, looking like your in your late 40s when youre suppose to be playing a younger character then your first xmen movie bugs the shit out of me).

So true, the only time it has worked is with Mortal Kombat, not the movie but the tv series that is set before the games, with original characters and the immortal ones from the games, it also sets up the games even though almost everyone dies or gets inslaved in it.

Can't believe I forgot about the MK movies, the fact they killed off johnny cage (my favorite MK character) within the first 10 minutes ruined the entire film for me (the first one wasn't any better) more then the horrible acting/writing/directing. I remember seeing a few episodes of the MK cartoon series and they were pretty cool, there was also a tekken anime movie that was pretty decent as well. So maybe the fighting genre could exist, and actually be good, as an anime/cartoon format.

never knew about a cartoon series,I was talking about the real series, it was a live action one set in the distant past and all.

Mortal Kombat: Konquest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In each of us there burns a soul of a warrior. In every generation a few are chosen to prove it. Centuries ago, in a time of darkness and fury, that fate befell three strangers. A monk, Kung Lao; an exiled guard, Siro; and a thief, Taja, who have to defend our realm from the forces of Outworld. By fighting for their lives, by fighting for their honor and by fighting for their realm...in a tournament called Mortal Kombat."

But yeah I hated the MK movie for Johnny getting killed off.

Chris Redfield will be played by some random roid abuser off the streets who just happens to know how to fire a gun

My ideal scenario would be them not making a Marvel VS Capcom movie.

I'd have Heath Ledger(RIP) as Deadpool. David Schwimmer as Wesker. Sarah Michelle Gellar as X-23. Orlando Bloom as Viewtiful Joe. Kirsten Dunst as Phoenix. Zach Galifianakis as Arthur. Gabe Newell as M.O.D.O.K. And finally André René Roussimoff(RIP) as Haggar.
