That's because you started vs. mode with the 2nd controller. The 2nd controller is treated as a guest account and therefore has no stats (or it slowly gains them).

In order for you to work on your characters, you need to use your 1st controller to start a vs. match with your 2nd controller and so on, so forth. I've made this mistake a few times and freaked out when I saw 0 stats on my fighters lol. But then I realized the game keeps track of both controllers/players.

Hey Raf.. hope ur making good progress.. I have to do all the stuff again on the Vita version of MK which comes out May 1. Guess what.. the dreaded kung fu trophy is back and the time is still at 24 hrs for each character.. its going to be very hard to boost as you cannot do offline 2 player mode to boost fatals and xrays. This will be a very very long grind.

Can't believe they put it on the Vita. anyways I have mastered 5 characters so far. I did every characters 150 X-rays. Just got to do everyone's 100 fatalities and blood spill. I'm doing Stryker last and I'm going to have him left with one X-ray so I can make sure I get the trophy.

Hey, dude. Haha, I haven't played MK in a little while. I'm finishing up a few other games not on my PS3 at the moment, but they'll be finished very soon. Once done with them, I'll be back on MK9 and working on MKFIS.

I wont even bother with MK9 on the Vita. You don't have access to a second controller (or second PS Vita?) to do versus against yourself to grind for MKFIS. Seems you're going to have to obtain those trophies pretty legit.

I want to know if the last thing i need for the trophy is to do one X-ray move would I get the trophy after I do the move or do i have to wait until the match is over? I was planning on mastering every character but and have that one just need to do one x-ray to be mastered so I can see the trophy pop up.

There isnt an easier way to do this, but there is a safer way to do it, if you're concerned about damaging the ps3. But it will take a lot longer by far. I do the tag team leaving it idle trick, but instead of leaving it like that all night, I turn it on as soon as I wake up, set up the tag team thing, then get ready for work, and before I leave, I cancel it out and shut it off. And repeat. (just make sure you check the nekropoilis before you exit, so it can save progress) As for the wins, fatalities, and xrays, like others I want to move on to other games as well, so for this, when I know I'm going to play for a while, first I throw in MK, and for 15 minutes work on one character, then quit, and start up the other game i wanted to play. Keeps from getting boring, and you're doing a little bit of the trophy each day. Once again, this will take months to a year, but safe if you're worried for your ps3.

I found a boosting partner and we are working on boosting xrays together.. I have already boosted time for 8 characters.. when I get back home from work, I boost with the partner and leave the vita running all night and through the next day till I return from work to avoid wastage of boosting opportunity..

Vita however requires more work as it has to be done for the DLC characters too..

Don't know if it's posted yet, if so sorry but:

To save a lot of time on fatalities, set rounds to 1. Use the Kombat Kode Sans Power (0,4,4,4,4,0) and choose Sindel as your opponent.

Perform a babality on her, its almost instant. Definitely under 20 secs.

The objective when doing the sans power and fatalities is to also spill as much blood as possible.. babalities dont spill blood so its useless..

Set ur background to the pit stage and do the stage fatality everytime.. its really quick.. not more than 30 or 35 secs per match..
