2500+ Respect Points-No Trophy

I was boosting KOTH Matches with my dad, and i got him over 2500 respect points in about 4 hours of playing time, but after he reached the goal he did not get the trophy! What we think is that he didnt et the trophy because it was i a private match! So does it need to be in a Room that i need to join or can it be in a private match and just glitched on us!? Please help

i for one wish that i got 2500 RP in 4 hours it took me 11 hours total and i don't know what the problem is =\

I'm not sure but I got my ten wins trophy in a private KOTH room. So I know you can get trophies that way just not sure the 2500 respect points one.
