Pop Out does not need to be done against the CPU. Therefore switching controllers will not affect this trophy. You can get it online, in two player mode at home or by fast forwarding against the CPU, switching controllers to get the circumstances right then going back. It will pop.
You cannot switch controllers for any trophy that must be achieved vs the CPU like triple play.

I feel like it would be, however, it doesn't mention "vs. the CPU" in the description like the others have. So I'm not sure. I tried 1 inning games vs. another controller and didn't get it. Hope it's not cause of the 1 innings...

Edit the rosters of either Tampa or the Angels so everyone is maxed out, start a season as either of them (they both have ten game road trips in April) using your saved mega roster. If you really want you can also zero out the rosters for your opponents, for Tampa I know Boston and the White Sox were two of the opponents, I don't remember the third. It will be time consuming, but your team should be so good that once you have a 3 or 4 run lead, just bunt for outs on offense.

I tell you what, the hardest part of Hamilwho? is keeping your nerves in check. So many times I choked when starting 10-3 or better. Even started 11-0 and failed. When I got it, I was sitting at 28 home runs with three outs to go. My heart was beating like mad and felt my stomach knotting up. Thankfully I got it on my next pitch.
My advice, other than staying calm (good luck) is only swing at pitches your good at. For some, the pitches low in the zone are golden, but for me anything low in the zone was an out. I couldn't hit the low balls or the balls inside without pulling them foul. Develop a good eye and swing at your pitches.

Kinda weird question... but figured I would ask here as more people look at this for help. But is there a HRD in the minor leagues or just the majors? I am approaching the Minor League All-Star Game (I have simmed ahead and reloaded my file and simmed ahead until I made the Future games, then just reloaded old file) and have like the third most HR's with about 2 weeks until the game. But, is there a Home Run Derby at this level? Or do I have to wait until the Major Leagues? That way I know weather or not to just go ahead and sim to the majors.
