For Dreamy theater 2 do you need Project Diva 2nd to play the full PSN like the last one? I'm a bit confused

Yes, a PSP and Project DIVA 2nd are required in order to transfer your Save File (as well as Edit Songs) onto the PS3 for use in Dreamy Theater 2nd.
