When it first came out on PSP, i was 'PSP.' That means "Pissed, Seriously Pissed," since i wondered why it didn't release on the PS3.
After playing 1 1/2 missions, and one 'special ops,' i have to say that this game is crap. I have NO desire to develop soldiers, i mean, give me a break. I hated "Command and conquer," which this seems like. I want to play as Snake only. That bozo with the blond hair - who sounds a little like Liquid Snake - is annoying as hell, and who is that friggin' brat? WTF? Of course i played "Sons of liberty" to death on PS2, and finished it on PS3 this week. I never played "Snake eater" either, but it has to be better than this. Like i said in the title, if i offended someone that likes/loves this game, i'm sorry. I wish there was a way to trade in this title, and incredibly, it's the only one with online! Maybe if i get more comfy with the controls and the god-awful menus i might like it. There is a chance i could, since i'm keeping it for the other 2 titles. For now, i hate it. |

It's your opinion. There's nothing wrong with that.
![]() My friend is a big MGS fan, she loves all mgs games, but to she, this game is unplayable. I have played with her, and she's not really good at this game. I love this game though. Although getting weapons isn't required for Platinum, I am trying to get most weapon and max out Mother Base.

To each their own, but I personally love this game. I was mildly disappointed with MGS4 (main reason: the story is a mess imo) and I hated most of the boss fights in that game. But Peace Walker brought back the same kind of "wow"-feeling MGS3 gave me. I'm looking forward to playing the HD version with -I assume- improved controls, as the right analog stick is available now. I'll definitely be playing Peace Walker first in the HD collection. ^^
With that said, MGS3 itself is still my absolute favorite.

Hm, personally, Peace Walker is one of my favourite game in MGS series. Along with MGS3. I really like to gather staff for MSF base, I like to search and develop weapons, I like even Outer Ops (it will be much better if you be able to control actions of your squads, but I still like it). And, of course, story is great as usual (one of the main reasons - it's a straight sequel to my favourite MGS3). Peace Walker is some way different in compare to another MGS games, but I think, it's still great.

I'm about ready to call it quits on this one. Thought more about it, I take issue with the story and gameplay.
AI in the 60s. Give me a break. Autonomous AI driven robots with a ever retreating red flying garbage can... REALLY!!! It's difficult to suspend disbelief in this game. This game has brought me to my wits end with MGS and Kojima... it's crazy nonsense. Lol. MGS1 hooked me. MGS2 confused me. MGS3 had me. MGS4 I have mixed feelings about. MGS:PW lost me!!! |

That being said, I don't think there's anything wrong with an AI in the 60's given the context. |

One thing I also really like about the game would be;
Yup, this game impressed me. I wasn't sure what to expect of it when I first started playing it, but it didn't take long before it turned into one of my more recent favorite games. :]
