How difficult? I'm reading about people who are having it even on EASY.

Got this glitch on V-EASY, EASY or NORMAL is not so bad. You can't transportate yourself in a box, that's all. In HARD or EXTREME is the end of the game.

I'm still waiting for an answer. Spanish support of Konami is even worse than others.
And meanwhile, new threads of this "gameover glitch" are appearing in forums of all over the world, in all languages.

Has anyone noticed this game is impossible to find in retail stores now? (In Bromley, South London at least!) I wonder if it was removed because of this bug.

There was one copy left in Nottingham when I got it. I paid £5 more for it than I wanted to because I didn't feel like waiting. I don't regret it at all.

Probably just massive demand for it then. I remember MGS2 and 3 comign out originally and they were HUGE. Guessing a lot of people remember the greatness, and for £30 it's a bit of a bargin.

There are still come copies left on play.com when I looked yesterday if anyone is interested . I hope this bug gets fixed soon else I'll be forced to double up and import the US release .

Same thing happening here in Portugal, first of all the game released here 2days after the planned release and then just like that it was unavailable everywhere and still is.

No way. The reason why there're very few copies is cause Konami EU haven't published too many.
I really don't understand them and I don't know what are they thinking... if MGS and lots of other games are not sold very good in EU is because people don't want to wait 3 months, so they import.

...

And still waiting for a solution.
By the way:
1) The glitch has been shown too in all Alternative Missions I did on Strut E.
2) Apparently, The Cat's out of the Bag (and Snake Eyes) in MGS3 EU are very 'glitched' too, but I can't confirm it yet cause I haven't started this tittle.

Allready got an answer from konami. They needed a complete explication of the problem. I also added the video so they can see what happens. I got a fast answer. I sended the mail to following adress:
customersupport@kde-us.com
I really hope they will get to it fast now

That address is from US. This problem is in EU (PAL zone).
There are several EU addresses, at least one per EU country.
