Man, i remember in MGS2 when they gave Raiden his sword...it felt so strange, not to mention cheap. Could deflect every bullet as long as you were facing the guy shooting
hope they don't break MGS:Rising by focusing on super ninja Raiden. The allure of the game is the sneaking, the suspense. Not slashing through everything that moves.

Raiden says on several occasions in MGS4 that he's a ninja, so there's got be a lot of sneaking. But that's the nice thing about MGS! It can be played through with guns blazing, but the real thrill can only be gained by sneaking around the bad guys.
Can't wait for this one. ... Does Raiden get smoke bombs he can use to disappear?

I love MGS. But rising is going to be scary for me. I hated MGS2, one thing was radien, to me, was worthless. Now in MGS4 he's a bad ass ninja. wtf, my opinion is no different. Anyways im scared the game will be a hack in slash. Im scared that there wouldn't be a sneaking vibe with him being a fast cyborg ninja. Snake relyed on the octocamo and his stealth ability. With radien, hes fast, uses his sword, and maybe has a stealth device like gray fox. I am buying a PSP bundle for Peace Walker, but Rising is on a bad note for me.
