Confirmed For Early 2013 Launch

Metal Gear Rising has just been confirmed for an early 2013 release at the end of its pre-E3 gameplay trailer, just aired on GTTV.

The video showed the first new glimpse of gameplay since its VGAs unveil in December last year, with mentions of life post-Patriots and how cyborg technology has ramped up since the end of MGS4.

An extended version of the trailer ran on GTTV will run during the Konami pre-E3 presser in a bit.

Looks great. Very fast-paced which I like, and there is still some degree of stealth too it looks like.

As long as people accept that this is just a spin-off in the Metal Gear universe and not to be compared to MGS, hopefully all the whining will stop.

Platinum games seem to be making a good one here.

This looks f*cking sick. Just hope it's insanely difficult, like the Ninja Gaiden series.

And it's fun how I find the MGS series boring, but I trust Platinum's Studio for this spin-off. They brought us Vanquish, best 3rd-person shooter on the ps3.

Its like the Ng3 we wanted Haven´t really been fund of Mgs games but this one looks cool.

Ok, after this trailer, I'm pretty damn sure that this game will most likely be one of the best Action games EVER. Oh, and Platinum Games, I love you.

Holy Crap!! Awesome trailer, and the song has really made things a bit better.

And, it's just me or this game is losing its "spin-off" characteristic, and becoming more and more of a true sequel?
