Thank you, I've had a look and it looks like being a decent enough game

platinum games gameplay + kojima pro storytelling = massive win
the only thing that sucked about bayonetta was the story and cutscenes, for me any way. i ended up skipping them about halfway through. as long as kojima is giving us the story and characters and platinum is handling gameplay, this will be a great game. i didnt read where they moved this game to after mgs4? im kinda disappointed by that, considering where raiden ended up in 4... i was hoping he would make it out of the soldier life ![]() anyway, looks fkin epic, cant wait to get more details and a demo |

Clearly you don't understand that I don't and that NO ONE on Internet message boards can, so why even assume that I did?
I am part of the fan base and I was speaking for myself. Although I know for a fact that this video has split the MGS community. There's a poll on GameTrailers where votes are taken between "I liked it" and "I was let down" and it was 50/50 with around 75 votes. This is on the MGS faction board. |

Okay, the old trailer was awesome. This one, not so much. The game doesn't look bad per se, but it's basically Bayonetta with Raiden. I'm extremely disappointed, I'd much rather have a finished product of what they showed at E3 before than this. I'm still going to buy it, but I don't have much interest in it anymore.

The way I look at it is this:
MGS Rising Trailer 1: Raiden slowly cutting a watermelon with a sword. MG Rising Revengance Trailer: Raiden cutting a normal person into 99 different shapes with his sword. It works, because it has structure. Kojima's Team worked on it and admitted they had the engine, had the voice work, cut scenes and animations done, but they were missing direction. They seriously had no idea what to do with the game. If Platinum didn't finish completing the other main portion of the concept, it would have been canceled, placed in the garbage bin and never heard from again. All that being said....not what I expected it to be at all.....
