Well, if you're like me and still remember the Grim Fandango game and similar puzzle/adventure games on PC fondly, you'll love it. If you're not, then it's just trophies to add to your list and might slightly annoy you.
In my opinion the puzzles, story and everything is absolutely great and you'll find yourself wanting to play more as you get along if you like this type of thing. Plus it's really cool seeing how a series of random items fits together.
As for the trophies, some are very difficult to get in one play through without the guide. May take two rounds of it to get the "under 3 hours" trophy if you want to enjoy the story and not skip dialogue as well as enjoy the puzzles, because the story (which you can skip with

) and doing the puzzles legit will in itself make each game easily 4-6 hours (plus there are the Tales of Monkey Island with chapters 1-5 that follow).
