Wow, never heard about that, will have to have search around the internet. Lol, it's likely that FFVIII-2 would consist of dress spheres and a complicated plot that would confuse the first games story and ruin a lot of people's ideals.

It's a shame there will never be a HD re-release of FFVIII =/ I'd quite like to see them completely remake the game from scratch for a modern console instead though [maybe with voices, though that could be a shot in the foot since the voice acting could be crap...]. I know it will never happen either, but I dream... Going to listen to the soundtrack to make myself feel better about it all...
