Tomb Raider was good because it was very easy to transfer the idea into movie form. There wasn't much actual substance to the story really, and it was also obviously very realistic.

MGS is the same way, but I can also see where it could go very wrong, especially if they cast cliche, overused actors that don't fit their respective parts.

Let's just hope they do it right! Movie adaptations of videogames don't have a very good record :/...

I'm impressed, to a certain extent! Seems like a more action-based hybrid of Skyrim and Dark Souls! But I'm nonetheless enjoying it! Zero Punctuation made a perfect review of the game...
