It's hentai. The main character's mother is a prostitute, but he doesn't know who the father is. So he leaves home in a quest to find him, and on his journey, he encounters many colorful characters.

When he was just a kid, his mother wanted him to follow her footsteps, which explains his hip movements. There are no spectacular fights or anything, but the story is pretty interesting, and you'll get really close to the various characters.

What's interesting, is that the main character is an antihero, and living with his gruesome deeds (you can probably imagine what I'm talking about) is just another element to the story. He has serious mental issues.

Yeh KHR was epic just like you said, it's probably one of the best anime's I've watched. Just finished the inheritance ceremony in the manga but have stopped reading it because I don't want to get hooked on it ATM. That arc was epic though!
