Yup, the kills in ranked mode count.
I'm pretty sure about this because I got the trophy in ranked mode.

Hey mate, doe's kills in ranked mode on lollipop count towards the 3,000? I swear I have killed more than that but no trophy..

...Yeah I have the combos. All of them can be bought from the shop, nothing special needs to be done.

I don't have all of the BGMs yet because you have to beat dad's highscore in every level to unlock all of them.
- some can be bought from the shop (very cheap, available from the beginning)
- the majority unlocks automatically after beating all stages on any difficulty
- the rest is obtained by beating dad's highscores
