Haha, same. I feel it's out of place without either the cover or book, too!
I alphabetically order my games too. Once in a blue moon, when my sister plays the PS3, she'll just leave the cases around the room, and sometimes I even scold her for it xD

Yeah I'm just a stickler for having the full thing. (Prolly my OCD) lol
I'm a highly organized type person. Everything in it's place type thing. Guess it carried over to my gaming. lol Even my PS3 games are filed into folders on the XMB. Game cases are alphabetical on the shelf next to the systems. Controllers are placed into their correct spot inside the game accesories drawer. Ect. ect. lol

Wow...That's amazing. Our shops are polar opposites to what you describe yours as.

Well I understand not wanting a game without a case. But the book is completely unnecessary sometimes. The books don't give much; half the time I never read the books.

I wish they would do that here. But everything is the same price no matter what. They see it as you're buying the game. The book and case are just bonuses they told me. I would be in heaven if I could walk into a GS and everything had all of it's parts with it.

It used to be that they wouldn't buy it without the case/book. They started buying them without it around the time of the N64. Since apparently everyone didn't want to keep their game cases, or the cases were tore up. But they figured I guess that the game works just as well without it so they no longer care.

And so you should! If not, at least expect a bit of money off it. If I went and bought a game for a tenner, but found the case was in bad condition, I'd expect a fiver, tops, of the price.

Yeah I can walk into the GS down the street and 90% of their PS3 wall is games without cases/books. Which is also one reason it takes me so long to get alot of games. I won't buy it unless it comes with everything just like it did when it was new.

I really envy people who have it, to be honest
I see threads of people saying they find it at the bargain bins at their stores, while I don't even get close to that. It's ridiculous.

Fascinating. I'm surprised; over here they do a full check on it before selling. If they notice the book is gone, they'll ask you! Strange.

I hope you do get it. While I haven't had much play time on it I love the game look/controls/story so far. I'm waiting for HN2 to drop a bit more in price. I want to get it too to add to the collection. And yes with shipping it while it migh not be sky high. It would probably cost alot more then just buying it when it comes in there.

Yeah I've traded in a few games years ago and they didn't even look at the disc's. Just poped open the case to see it was in there, scaned them in told me my trade value and then stickered them so they could be put on the shelf. I'm very leary about shoping for used games anymore.

Wow. That price is amazing. Cheapest here? £70, including P&P. Also note I'm not English, so that price would further increase just to get it over here. Called GameStop, they don't have a copy anywhere in Ireland. Not a joke. But I noticed GS are holding a deal where if you trade in three games you get a brand new game for three quid. HN is on the list, so at least that's some hope that it may come into stock for a short time. That's when I'll pounce. >=D

Seriously? Worst I've encountered was one without a cover, while the disc is in perfect condition. I'm bewildered, that stuff never happens here.

I'm going to do a little research to see if I can find a good copy in a game store near me for a decent price.
