I've been reading them since 1992 so I've read the early ones a lot. I did a full re-read each time up until 8, I think. Didn't do another until 11, and this is my first since then. Don't be discouraged when you get to Book 10, though... it's extremely boring but worth slogging through to get to the rest.

Be mindful of the blog since you haven't read past book 9... there are some spoilers for later books in the initial posts because I'm blogging from the perspective of the entire series to date. Not too many, but they are there... after 22 years I'm not going to step lightly for what will be my last re-read in a while.

Sanderson has done a great job, considering the huge task before him. He's not as long-winded as Jordan, so that's good, because his WoT books move really fast and a lot happens. Don't know what the last WoT book you read was, but Sanderson's are as good as 3-6 in my opinion. Only problem with him is he had a little trouble with Mat in Book 12, he didn't sound right... but he's pretty spot on with all the others.

Cool, I just have regular hardback editions of everything, donated all my paperbacks a while back... am rebuying on Kindle for the re-read. I've also got Knife of Dreams signed by Jordan and have the Sanderson books signed as well. I'm also blogging my re-read since I've been reading it for 20 years... link's in my sig if you're interested.

Yeah The Shadow Rising is my favorite of the series as well. Even have a copy signed by Robert Jordan.

As for the timestamp, I'd say check the trophy card site but they don't have the game in their database yet so go to the trophy collection on your PS3 and jot down the date and time you unlocked the trophy. Make sure to also include what time zone you're from (EST, CST, etc.).
