I reckon you are on the money there Fletch, take a look at the psn game Inferno Pool speeed & camera angles coupled with intensity and if you infuse it with the luxurious surroundings of wsc you'll have a game. When the next title in the sequence arrives i'll be sure to play you for real.

I agree that the controls need tweaking most importantly.

A lack of atmosphere around the matches and no 'break ace' trophy would be nice coupled with a sensible online structure and we're there lol
