your definitely right though, in reality this is all speculation BF3 could be become the greatest game ever created and then ill have to eat my words. i think its also worth pointing out that i play alot of CoD because i play it with my friends, they dont really play anything else other than NHL (yeah my canadian blood shows). Sometimes i just feel that COD gets dumped on a little much, it kinda seems like people have to slag it just to prove they are serious gamers. but as someone who plays many games, i still think their is a reason COD is the most popular game on earth. hahaha i cant deny you are right about they need to do something to make the series fresh again though...

anyways honestly my main concern is the player total, i think that BF3 is a game that would be great with a ton of players. my thought process being if a few guys are in a plane and a few others in a ground vehicle, who is going to be on foot?

I’ve been playing Battlefield since 1942 and I’ve played every single iteration since…. And with CoD, I played CoD2 (WW2) and MW1 to death! But it just went downhill from there.
MW3 is just a copy paste job of MW1, no innovation, no graphical advancement – Just the same old game… But this isn’t an issue because the game works!

I’ve kinda lost the ball on this fanboi sh!t tbh

So I'll just wait until they come out and decide from there :P

And I kinda agree with most of it, although it’s hard to base such statements as fact as we haven’t really seen much PS3 gameplay

As for the maps being scaled…. the maps in BC2 are pretty huge, but its been said that they shall be increased in size slightly. But you’re right the bigger the better, and of course far less players than on PC which is a big bummer

The FPS argument… Did you know (lol) that our eyes only see at 30fps – So the 60fps that COD runs at may look smooth, but its unnaturally smooth and actually makes me feel a bit ill (Or maybe that’s COD in general :P )

hey this is in regards to your post about the MW3 elite, you asked me why i thought that BF3 had lost the edge to COD. i figured it just post on your wall cause it took so long to reply! haha my bad!

i think ever since they launched that battlefield 3 trailer (the 16 min one) it has only gone downhill. i honestly remember being so excited and blown away by BF3, but every time i read a preview about it, something else becomes apparent that its going to be worse that i had envisioned.

- the trailer was PC footage, previews say the game looks similar to BF:BC2 which isnt a bad thing but it certainly isnt OMGWTFBBQ like when i saw that trailer

- it was announced the game will only run at 30fps. since its competing with COD its fair to compare the two and COD runs at 60fps

- all online maps will need to be downsized to work on console.
