Really? Over here they had a SE for Arkham City. It was actually called a collectors edition and had a Statue, Batman Cartoon on DVD and an Art Book.

You can't create private ranked games, but you can create a game, and then kick anyone from the lobby who joins and is not part of the boosting group. Also, there is a bit of an issue in that you can only host 6 games in a row and then it will fail to start the seventh. Then the host will HAVE to quit to the XMB and start a fresh lobby for another 6 games... The online for this is really bad which is another reason why it's such a rare plat.

Well, I'm not planning to make games (or not games to sell at least...). It's more the kind of stuff everyone uses, might be a desktop program or a webapplication. It depends on my employer what I'll make xD

I hope it arrives before the weekend then! Here they also have a delivery on saturday and since a few month my shop is also open on sundays. But most releases are on friday and I get them on wednesday.

I don't have an idea about the online trophies... I only know that they're a massive grind and that you can make ranked custom private games xD How available are you on saturday/sunday noon (gmt+1 time)?

I read somewhere that they are going to release a goty edition of arkham city, it'll contain all dlc, but nothing about a figurine... If you get ir off ebay, the included DLC will probably not work... Same with the music, it's a code you have to enter. I'm not sure, but I think that entering the code multiple times, might work!

Actually, quite often the game is already in the shop 2-3 days before release... My local shop often sends me a message about my pre-order on wednesday (us release), when the game releases on friday in europe. They break the streetdate, but they're not alone. So actually it should be possible to have one worldwide release!

In my case I'm working towards being a developer of programs. But this might be programming (what I like most, but is often sent to low salary countries) or it might be more high level and developing the structure/achitecture of an application or system. That is both the structure on software level (the actual code) and on hardware level (how are my servers connected to each other etc).
I would love that year, but I don't think that my parents will like it if I do so! I still live at home and studied for almost 6 year now. But I also know that I won't have the opportunity again afterwards!

Yep, I also changed them very quick! Not sure why they want to change stuff, just use the same controls as every other shooter...

For me it's not I buy them quite often if they contain a figurine (AND it's a game I'm going to buy on release anyway). Also got some others like, bioshock 2, catherine (stray sheep, was 'same price as normal game'-action), fallout new vegas... But I want something back for my money. If I have to pay an extra 20 euro, just for some skins, they can have their skins and I'll play the normal version!

I didn't go online yet, just played the tutorial and the first 2 chapters I think. I was struggling with the zooming and melee that was inversed for me. Melee with L1 and zooming with R3?? I didn't like that!
I think after finishing my studies, that I'll take a year of to finish games! But I doubt that 1 year will suffice...
I'm studying informatics. First did a 3 year professional bachelor at 'university' college. It's university with the aim on practical use for in your job. After that I did a changeprogram of one year, so I was same level with an academic bachelor (guys who also know all the theory behind stuff) and now I'm in my 2nd master year.

GTA 4 was my first 'gta' game *blush* but bully sort of makes up for that! Back then I played ratchet and clank and jak and daxter most of the time.

Far Cry 2? Are you serious? I just bought the game for 5 euro to play it online with 2 other people so they could finish the plat and I can get it too! One of them has 2 ps3's and 2 copies of the game! I think we should get together! Only one AC:B session left on sunday and from then on I could change to FC for example...
And you're right about the high level guys gearing up against the low levels... Really hate that!

Journey is indeed a little bit overpriced at your place! But when they discount it, you should not wait

After AC:B and journey I might continue with heavy rain, not sure yet! The reason I would take that one is because of the size...
Also started killzone 3, but that's just to get the online trophies so I don't have to worry about them anymore.
For journey I only need some collectibles and location related trophies, but it shouldn't take more than 1-2 hours to get them. AC:B is another story...
Yeah, too many grind games at the same time also puts you off. You never get the feeling that you're progressing overall. And last week it was double xp in modnation, but I couldn't profit from it because I had too much work for uni. On top of that, the moment I tried it, everything that's online took ages to load. Just checking my profile took almost a minute! Taking something offline took a minute and so on... Normally that's instant ready. But in may modnation exists 2 year and they're gonna do all sort of stuff, so I hope they do a triple xp month!
