Better late than never!

Hey!

So, I've been here for a while now, I've made some friends and got involved with Clans and gaming events. Yet I've never posted a Member Profile. So here goes:

My name is Luke, and one of the most asked questions I get is; Where does the name Lukezordz come from?

The answer to that is simple really, When I was younger, I used to go bowling once a week with some friends, and everyone had unique bowling names... I never had one, so I asked my friend to make on up for me, and that name was Lukezordz. Since then it has just stuck with me, and I use that as my screen name for everything!

So, I'll tell you a little about myself.

I'm Luke. I'm 17 years old and I work as an IT assistant at a UK Music Store called Dawson's Music. I've been here for about 6 months now, and I love every moment of it. Before I started here I was enrolled at a college studying Music Technology. Music is one of my main hobbies besides gaming, I play bass and guitar. I used to be in a band that played Indie and rock music. We did okay, we managed to headline quite a few venues around the North West area. (Liverpool O2 Academy, The Picket Club, Manchester Night And Day Cafe) But after a while I gave it up to pursue other goals. It was all great fun while it lasted.

So I mentioned that another one of my passions is music, and I've already covered the instruments I play. As for my taste in music, I love Rock and all it's variations. Metal, Classic, Grunge, Alternative, Punk, Punk Rock... I could go on... I love going to Live gigs, this year I'm going to see Blink-182, The Stone Roses (Reunion Tour) and Leeds Festival! My favourite bands range from Paramore to Motley Crue to Nirvana to Pendulum, In all honesty there's too many "favourite" Bands to name. But I'll give you one, HIM. HIM are one of my favourite bands because I find their music beautiful. They're a metal band that write beautiful songs and they always cheer me up and make me smile.

In all honesty I'm actually a very cynical person. Things get me down and I always see the glass as half empty. But to be honest, I love where I am in life right now! I don't really have many friends any more but that's by my choice, Many people stopped speaking to me after high school, so I figure that if they don't want to make an effort why should I?

So that was the depressing part To be honest, the people I've met on the site are much more important to me than any "friends" in my real life. That might be kinda sad, but it's how I feel, I'm glad I've been able to connect with people on here and class them as friends

On to the greatest loves of my life...

My girlfriend, 19 years old, and my son. I'm only 17, and people seem to be surprised that I have a son, he's 7 months old and I've never been happier in my whole life. I'm so lucky to have Mia (My girlfriend) and Zak (My son). Me and Mia have been together for about 2 years now and I can happily say that neither of us have ever been happier. We spend all of our time together, even if we're doing completely different things... As long as we have each others company we're happy, I even try to get her involved in my gaming life, I bought her Monopoly Streets for us to play together and she was helping me get some trophies. She's just that amazing! We've never had a real argument (Which I'd imagine is good xD) and we're planning on moving on and soon to move into our own house together. The future is a mystery really, but I have some plans...

I've made some bad decisions in my life, but each one of them has led me to my life now. And if I could take those bad decisions back.... Well... I wouldn't.

You seem to be very mature for your age, and handling the responsibilities that you do at 17 is astonishing. I'm still a bit immature at 20 years old, but that's just my personality.

I Guess Gaming keeps you young

I've been a gamer ever since I was a kid.

I always think that I'm older than I actually am, which can be annoying at times.

I try to keep my self young by gaming, I recently bought the Jak & Daxter collection purely to re-live some childhood memories
