Default Megamind Trophy Guide and Road Map

Trophy Guide & Roadmap

Roadmap

Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 1/10 (Based off the site average found here).
- Offine trophies: 26 (1, 7, 8, 10)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to : 3 - 6 hours
- Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 (you can replay levels if needed)
- Number of missable trophies: 0
- Glitched trophies: 0
- Do cheat codes disable trophies: N/A

Introduction: Welcome to my Megamind: The Video Game guide. The game is a linear action game and is the exact definition of quick movie tie-in games. It is pretty simple, short and generally geared toward a younger audience with a few minor challenges on the boss fights. The majority of the trophies will be unlocked during the course of normal play and anything else can be completed with the level select feature. The best news is there are no collectibles to worry about!

Step 1 - Play through the main levels of the game. If you play in CO-OP, only the player controlling Megamind gets the trophies. Save yourself the hassle and just play solo the first time as Megamind to unlock everything. There are 10 levels total and each one can easily be completed in less than 30 minutes if you just run through them. On level 1 you should attempt to complete it without dying. On levels 3, 6, 9 and 10 you need to beat the bosses without dying. None of these "do without dying" trophies are very difficult and can all be done via level select if you don't complete them the first time. I have tips for the bosses in the guide if you run into trouble. Everything else unlocks during normal play and should not prove too troublesome.

Step 2 - Mop up anything you might have missed using the level select screen. It is the map that is found in your lair hideout. You don't have to play the mini-games at all.

Conclusion:
Overall the game is not too difficult. The average gamer should be able to complete the majority of the game within a single day of dedicated play. This makes it a perfect candidate for a weekend rental.

That's it everyone, thanks for reading.

Mega-Skill
Complete any story mission without dying as Megamind

Simply complete any level of the game without dying or falling to your death. I suggest doing this in the first level since it is the simplest. There is a good chance you will get this to unlock without really trying for it but if you don't get it during the course of playing the game, you can always reload a level and try as many times as you need to. Eventually you will master a single level and get this knocked out.

Mega Collector
Collect 3000 B.I.N.K.E.Y. in any single level as Megamind

B.I.N.K.E.Y. are the blue glowing objects scattered around the levels. You also receive them from destroying objects and killing enemies. The trophy will unlock shortly after you collect the required amount during the game. You can get 1000 and 2000 unlocked in the very first level, “The Museum”. The 3000 can easily be collected in level 2, “Downtown”. I had over 9000 by the end of level 2.

Platinum Trophy
All Trophies obtained!

This unlocks after collecting all the other trophies referenced in this guide.

I just rented this game, played 15 minutes and had 25% of the trophies. Have not gotten to the boss battles yet, but thanks for the heads up on how to attack them.

Yeah this is a definite rental. Only way I'd suggest a buy is if you have a kid that LOVES the movie. It is pretty short with almost no replayability. It is not a bad game but there is nothing to do once you finish it. Short mindless fun.

Thanks for the guide.

I don't usually buy children movie tie-ins but as this is superhero related, I will.

.....

But when it is dirt cheap.

During the destruction derby boss fight you do not have to drop the tnt. When the crane stops over your head just take a step back, it saves a lot of time over the drop and pick up method and it never hits you
