I may be wrong, but I always tried to have 2 pistols on me and a Assault rifle, I found running with one 2 handed weapon seemed quiker than dual wielding. It may just be the animation makes it look quiker but that's how I played my HC runs.

How you gettin on anyways kfree7, how far are you on NYM, as I'm gonna try and better some of my times. If we're doin same levels we can trade tips
I wish I had something to record my runs, as this is the first game I've owned that I can continually replay!
Tho I dunno how some guys got nearly a min quiker on chapter one than me, I'm flawless at that, and theres maybe an extra 20 secs or so I could get, ut dunno how he broke the 4 min time!

Man I hate that boat level. It was a bitch the first time on hard difficulty and got easier on Oldschool but it's pissing me off in NYM. I can't even leave that damned boat because I either run out of time or die because there's too few painkillers and you have to rush it. Guess it's a bit easier on NYMHC when you have accumulated a few minutes spare time.

The boat level you should be gettin plat in, when boats attack, kill 1 or 2 guys first, then destroy boat, remember bullet time, don't let any firebombs hit boat and when that boat pulls up beside you aim for engine.
After grenade attack , kill guys quickly ad try to get furthest guy to right quickly as he will hurt you then destroy the car that's slightly hidden.
After you shoot grenade, don't kill anyone, use bulletime ad destroy the 3 gas canisters to the left, kill anyone left, then kill next 3 on docks, hen immediately go in bulletime, blast the shit out of big gas canisters, then shoot the little fuel canisters on the shelves to right, don't kill anyone let th explosion do it.
Then it's the car section, you can destroy about 5 or 6 cars, aim in bulletime about 6, 7 shots for where you'd put gas in. After that a few more boats, same as before, then when under the pier, kill the 5 guys in front of you , then bullettime The boats behind till they destroyed, and if you have time 2 more guys on boat to left. In final shots take 3 on right then 2 on left so u don't shoot fabiana, keep goin and you can finish with loads a time!

Edit: Having watched Dropeti's video I found two more painkillers. Maybe I can pull it off now.

End of chapter seven. Made it past the first molotov in the beginning of the upper favela. On the last run right before the RPG gets shot at you, got hit directly with a molotov from across the other building. Fail. Just said "wow, right at the end".

I think they run & blow up vehicles in route to the next area when in the garage, cars close to others blow up too so you can accumelate some good time there

Chapter 8. Shot my partner once. Not supposed to do that. Second time I killed the sniper and like and idiot got excited and ran up the stairs in bullet time and got a shotgun to the face. 3rd time died in Monument circle. Surely I'm not the only one with trouble not dying. Taking a break for some grinds now.

Well it was everything easy until I got to chapter 13 :c I've completed hard, old school and hardcore within a week without any big troubles on free aim but I still couldn't manage to beat mission 13 on NYM. This was my first chapter where I seriously got problems with running out of time especially at the apc part. After adjusting my tactics there (picked granade launcher for explosion kills), I could net 2-3 minutes on my clock but at the end of that chapter I'm always running out of painkiller and trying to rush forward because time is ticking. Out of 15 tries I managed only once to meet Bachmeyer. This chapter is a real bitch

Well, my first stuck was at chapter 3, where I either got killed, ran out of time or killed Passos, then I had some trouble at chapter 8, but that was because I was jerking off. After that I had lot of trouble at chapter 11 (Panama), always ran out of time or painkillers. And now I´m stuck at chapter 13, got to Bachmayer twice, got my head blown of twice. Gonna give it another go today.

Anyway, I need to practice the apc part more with the rotary launcher because I do loose too much painkillers there. I wished there were more painkillers in this level or I should check their location's where I'm don't aware of.

Ok after checking the painkiller guide on our sister's site I might have really missed a few painkillers.

I just did chapter 13, uff. And about the APC part, just get the rotary launcher and then blind fire the grenades at the UFE, don´t ever stick your head out, or you get killed. (It´s almost imposible to not fail in last stand with RPG or the launcher)
