MP3 will be released in NA on may 15th, on 18th in EU.
So here's my question.

If a dude post a playthrough on the 15th, will it then be taken off to the 18th where it have been released everywhere?

On YouTube? The general rule (some games vary, depending on the developer) is once the game has been officially released, it's fine to post videos. Posting before street date will usually mean strikes and removal of videos. So like you said, once the game is released on the 15th, it's fine to post videos even if the game comes out the 18th for Europeans. Before that, no.

Exactly. Living in Europe myself, I usually check out YouTube for the first hour or so of playthroughs of games that have been released on Tuesday in the United States but won't be released until two days later over here.

I've been doing that for over two years now and the many YouTube channels I check for that are still around and those videos never got taken down.

The rule is that if the game has been officialy released anywhere there are no issues of copyright or anything! Take One Piece:Kaikozu Musou for example. The game has only been released in Japan and there are a ton of playthroughs on Youtube

Be careful though.. Rockstar/Take 2 is a bit nitpicky when it comes to gameplay videos. Especially videos that contain spoilers.. :\

I wouldn't risk it with Rockstar, they tend to care about copyright particularly cutscens months after release. Certain channels (gtaseriesvideos) are allowed to upload because they've made deals with rockstar.

It really is a pity!
I thought about pre-ordering it but since they haven't released a demo so far and there are only trailers and such on Youtube, I won't buy it in the near future. :/

^^ Can't stress this enough. This is a common staple with Rockstar games.

If you are caught posting any Rockstar unfiltered game play and/or spoiler videos shortly following release on YouTube, you risk getting a copyright strike.

Yeah, except official trailers or gameplay commentaries from the developers themselves. I remember that Volition did a gameplay video for Saints Row 3 a couple of months before it's release date.
