Max Payne is a third person shooter with a dark story too it. It has a comic book feel to it somewhat like Sin City. The gameplay is fun and smooth and bullet time makes it so much more exciting. The bullet time is similar to RDR's "bullet time" but instead you cannot target spots to shoot. Overall it won't disappoint.

I didnt like RDR... it was Boring IMO, what i do know is that rockstar never fails to deliver...

Maybe the way the trailers were stylised but not the game itself. They both look completely different: LA Noire is more story eccentric while Max Payne is action driven.

I'd say Max Payne is just as story-driven as L.A. Noire, the first two games certainly had a better story than L.A. Noire anyway.

And to the guy that said MP and MP2 "look dated", what do you honestly expect? MP was released in 2001 and MP2 released in 2003, of course they are bloody dated!

Well L.A. Noire was a mostly slow pace investigation game (which I loved)! Max Payne is an action packed 3rd person shooter. The only similarity in these games is the targeting reticle (same for every R* game)!
