Got it 2nd try.

Tips:

-Anticipate the spawn of the Marauder and stop moving immediately, aim for the head.
-Successful headshots will stagger the target, don't miss at this point.
-Once he recovers from the stagger dont rush your shots, final a rhythm that ensures accuracy (watch the reticule) and go for head.

i Beat this guy on Insanity last night to wrap up all the achievements for the xbox(minus 5k kills). I can honestly say that THIS is the ONE part I do not want to do over when I play Insanity on the PS3. ugh Marauder Shields indeed.

I finally got him, changing the camera/aim speed to low seemed to do it for me, took 4/5 shots total with 1 or 2 lucky headshots, like others have said it seems he wont fire back as long as all your shots connect.

Good idea. Changing the camera speed might actually help me. I think I've been killed by Marauder Shields about 50 times now.

so far not notice any change when altering the camera speed. At least when I was panning around with either max or min setting. Maybe it helps at the shooting part.

what type of ammo is the default for this part, or is there even a way to check?

and where did my Black Widow disappear to?

They should have a built in safety net, once you fail 50-100 times it gets easier

After changing the camera speed to slow I got it on my 3rd try.

I died there more than the rest of the game combined, easily. Headshots on the Marauder without missing is the key on Insanity.

Challenging games don't bother me, and for me Mass Effect 3 was really easy on Insanity, but this just seemed like a bad case of artificial difficulty.

They had to reduce Shep's powers to make it more difficult, I am surprised the last boss was not a Brute or better yet a Banshee

I only did the final part on insane, the middle part on normal/casual.

I don't even think you can practice for this

Best part of this one is you get to farm for Veteran trophy
each time you die you have 3 more do this 1,000 times and you have 3,000 of the 5,000 needed.

Didn't find it too difficult, but frustrating. At least the save spot is just a few seconds. That made it less aggrivating.
