But it doesn't have to be a full shield. For the earlier levels, when you might not have Overload as upgraded, you can always take it out down to about half or 1/4 and then Overload.

I have a quick thing to point out. I don't think the bonus powers you obtain from squadmates track for the trophies. I've been using Slam ever since I got it from Javik, and am stuck at 11/100 for the Lift trophy.

So I think it has to be powers that your Shepherd started with.

Slam doesn't seem to work at all. I used that power as an Infiltrator, since it's one of the bonus abilities that you can use, on a few missions. Not one use of it counted.

So how exactly does the game determine how much readiness to shave off each time? Is it based off the PS3 clock? If so couldn't we just tamper with it?

Well... that just sucks.

And, I'm thinking of doing something I've never done with Mass Effect before... doing a new FemShep playthrough on Insanity.

What exactly are the advantages/disadvantages to playing Insanity on NG versus NG+?

NG+? Do you mean import ME2 Shep or Import ME3 Shep?

I'm confused about whether or not I should import an ME2 Shep or import my finished ME3 level 60 Shep (imported from ME2) for insanity...

I'd say that NG+ (importing your ME3 character) would be easier for Insanity because you'll know what to expect, your weapons will be upgraded, you'll have all of your mods available from the beginning, and you'll be leveled up even more, so your powers will be stronger.

for the Unwavering trophy. Do you need to complete all single player mission on insanity in a single playthrough? Cause i i missed like one of the N7 mission so is it like possible if i just play insanity on that mission itself in NG+? Or you need to do it in a single playthrough

They all need to be done in a single playthrough.

platinum trophy unlocked for 30min. the insanity mode is not hard just one or two missions are a little bit harder than the other missions. the only hard trophy not hard just a little bit long are the 5000 kills trophy. the easiest way to earn the 5000 kill trophy is to play online. so good luck to all other trophy hunters

Congrats. The only thing that I'll say about playing online is that you risk a game freeze that resets your stats. It's easier, but there's the chance that you will lose everything if you don't back the settings up.
