Plan to get Combat Specialist Trophy - Need Help

So I've been thinking about that combat specialist trophy and I thought up a way on how to get it but I'll need a major amount of help from you all, but you got my word about repaying the favour so you can get the trophy as well. Here are my steps.

1. I make a new account on PSN to get the trophy, My original IGN is KoppeeShew but I am NOT going to use that for this boosting but I will be posting the new name up here if there is enough interest to make this plan work

2. Everyone who wants to help add me to your list and get into a ranked match with me under the Dutch language with region and rank limit set to any

3. The more people that are on at the same time trying to enter a match with me the better chances I will have to get into a match with you and get the win. Of course everyone here must make a new account to play with since you don't want your rank and losses to go down either.

I see it as hey if you get in a match with me awesome that helps us get to #1 rank, if not then just practice and have fun.

I don't know how long this will take and how many wins it will take to get to #1 rank but I'm pretty positive that it can be done.

And of course when I reach #1 rank, as the trophy states "Beat someone with the #1 rank" All you guys need to do is PM me your real PSN ID so that I can return the favour and give you the trophy as well (Don't worry about my own account I can just get a friend to log on the rank #1 account and get it for myself)

I'll only help those who reply in this thread and help me as well, as it won't be fair for people to just grab the trophy without any contribution to be fair.

We can make this work but I'll need alot of help and your trust, you guys got my word that I'll help you back.

- I'll update my new username for you guys to add me in a day or two when I see there is enough interest in here to make this work and we can schedule times to have matches

The proposal of this thread seems interesting, I still didn't buy MVC3, hope to get soon. (I will post an alternate PSN ID here in this thread when I get it).

The two online trophies "School for the Gifted"and "Combat Specialist", mainly the first one can be potentially hard and irritating to get in my opinion.

As for the matching for ranked match I am curious: The alternate account, does it matter the country and stuff I choose while making it for the custom matching options like "language" and "same area" to take effect?

Or these custom matching options are independent from the settings of our PSN account, being only a filter that would match people that chose the exact same settings?

The matching options are independent from the settings of the PS3 console, you're right as they operate as an independent filter.


So 4 people signed up so far! 2 people on this thread and 2 of my personal friends, lets keep this going guys this trophy is gonna be hard and this is the easiest way to get it over with for all of us : ) and thanks to those who already showed their support

I see, so if lots of people trying to boost the annoying "School for the Gift trophy" choose the same exact settings, chances are we would meet them more often?

Well anyways, I remember I have one of those alternate accounts I use only to visit other region PS Stores, I could use that to help with this boosting thing. I hope we can all help each other get these two online trophies.

Also, would be interesting to keep updating the first post with psn IDs of people interested in doing the boosting for this trophy (and possibly the School for Gifted one too). If someone is no longer interested, TC could edit the first thread by removing their PSN ID from the list.

I just hope it won't be too annoying for TC to do this, should he agree with the idea.
