Game freezes?

I am playing a Franchise with the Giants and I am trying to play the first game of the season to get the opening day trophy. And when I get into the 3rd or 4th inning of the game I'll throw a strike and the game will just freeze. It happened last night when i played a game then i said oh well ill play again tomorrow. I started playing today and it has happened in 3 straight games. The first 2 games i made it to the bottom of the 3rd then on the last one i made it to the bottom of the 4th. I have no clue what the problem is. I checked the disc and there are no smudges on it so i dont know. This really pisses me off though.

Typical 2K! All I can suggest is delete all the files (Game Data) related to the game and re-download them and that might fix it. If not, buy MLB10 The Show

They do need some work, but I like the 2K baseball as it way easier to plat then the show, but the show is much...much better.

mine is freezing when i go to get online as soon as it says mlb today then it freezes this sucks
