haven't played madden since i got my ps3 was wondering what sort of stuff you can do online like could a friend and i play as different franchises or is all the online just head to head matchups?

The game isn't out yet dude. We won't know until it actually does.

However, if I recall correctly, there are online franchises in the previous Maddens. If so, I'm sure they'll bring it back again this year.

you can do reg online versus or play 3on3 online also it has franchise mode with up to 32 player controlled teams i believe as well as onlione fantasy draft and othe rmodes as well
